Yeah, you can see/listen to this in Music Room Interface as well. Apparently it was meant to play when you unlocked Hatate.

Never took direct notice of it, but I was quite surprised when I realized that Patchouli's spellcard-portrait in the Extra Stage depicts her smiling, whereas she looks much less pleased in Stage 4.
All of a sudden there was warmth in my heart when I saw her smiling like that!

When I started playing PCB on a huge screen I noticed that the little snowflakes and the like react to you when you fly around, like you're gently gliding through all the snow. I found this discovery quite interesting :V

IIRC, same thing with the fireflies in IN Stage 1.

After I started getting into Danmakufu, I realized why I never saw lasers in image sprite rips from the games. Lasers are actually just stretched out bullets, with the exception of UFO lasers. Different laser types = different bullets.

Yeah, the card doesn't move at all, and even the timer stops, as long as the player is invincible.

Apparently, ZUN has designed and drawn a few other characters, mostly shrine maidens. They remain nameless, but I'm surprised the fans never went anywhere with these characters.

Even though this is obvious, I still want to bring up the fact that Rin is the only character in the series with four ears--her cat ears and the human ears. To my knowledge, all the other characters with animal ears lack human ears. Makes one wonder if Rin's case is intentional or a mistake...

On the Touhou fighters, if you look at Remilia's in-game sprite animation, when she flaps her wings downward, she moves down as well, instead of lifting, which she does when she lifts her wings. o_O

Wings are an accessory in Gensokyo. Everyone can fly so it really doesn't matter which direction Remi's wings point :V

It took me forever to notice that one too.
Letty and Merlin were the first if I'm not mistaken to use Curved Lasers, yet Shou is the one who is infamous for them.
