Eh? Was just more an open speculation. The Fujiwara ruled during the Heian period, and Bhuddism was doing pretty well then. It's not answerable in other words. Just something I noticed. That's why it was posted in this 'stuff you noticed' thread, you know? Christ.

Not really something I personally didn't notice, but. Marisa now has seven original themes. Nine, and possibly ten if you count arranges.

(I believe Magician's Melancholy to be about Marisa, and I'm counting it as one of her themes. GoM is entirely from Marisa's point of view, and the fact that there were only two tracks, one original, depicting a magician... I can't just view it as a random track such stuff from R53M. Same goes for Sputnik Genya, although it's an arrange and doesn't seem to be particularly about Marisa, save for sounding like something she would have as a theme.)

Well, this is just a thought I got when I was thinking about Alice and Marisa...
Marisa has all the "love colored" stuff but...her outfit doesn't have colors! (black and white aren't colors)
And so...Alice is the "rainbow" magician...rainbow + black/white = all the colors.
... And the third magician we have, Patchouli knowledge, is known as the "one-week magician", like, seven days and the seven colored-rainbow? I don't think it is a coincidence...

By "scheme" I'm referring to hair and clothes. Their danmaku follows these colors too.
Star's eyes are yellow as of recently. They were blue and gray before.

Is it not obvious that they have a rotating color scheme going? :|

Oh, it seems that I didn't notice it (now that I'm playing, it's probably because it's not too noticeable)...but well, Sunny's danmaku has orange, yellow and red colors.
Luna has yellow danmaku because I think that if they were white they would look pretty bad. ANd also, to simbolyze the moon.
Sunny has red clothes and gold hair. Luna has white/black clothes and yellow hair. Star has dark brown hair and blue clothes.

Yeah, I also thought of orange but then I thought "Even though it's anime...it sounds bad" So I went to touhou wiki to get a better color to describe it and it said gold.
Anyway, another crazy thing:
I dunno is this's been said before, but there are some moons in the background's spellcards and also in the place were the mischievous fairies usually stand you can see a cosmic scenery. Well, star, moon, sun...I guess it's not that crazy...

Renko's clothes are almost the same as Reimu's with different colors. (Do you see near Renko's shoulder? There is a black thingy. If you just took away the part of the shoulder that is separated by the black thing, it would look like Reimu's detachable sleeves)

Going by a tiny piece of official art I found (yay wiki), I could totally see the detached sleeves thing. You'd probably have to drop the tie to get it looking a lot like Reimu... Good observation, though!

Reimu seems to be younger than Renko (If Renko didn't skip any year or anything, she would be about 20...)
Maribel seems to be younger than Yukari.(She IS younger xD)

Not crazy at all, but when a UFO pops up, I never noticed the circular gauge/icon thing that displays how many P and point items it sucked in until the other day.

Also, when Kogasa sticks her tongue out (like in

), she closes her blue eye. I thought it was just her being cute and whatnot, but then it hit me... more karakasa'd goodness.

I just realized that Utsuho's caution sign HAS CAT FACES! AND REAL ONES xD

Edit: One of the three thingys is a cat face, the other one is like a space scene and I think that the third one is a lader.

Is it? I was under the impression they were completely different, but I always choose to fight Kaguya and IN's my least-played game (PC-98 included (SoEW included)), so.

EDIT: Wow, they are surprisingly similar.

yeah, the cats are a reference to the cats in Prypiat, Ukraine. I can't, for the life of me, remember what the other two things were.

History says yes, ZUN would probably say something along the lines of "her ancestors were the ones involved, she was too preoccupied with exacting her revenge on Mokou, etc etc". Still, I hope there is just for the sake of continued character development.

Well, I didnt read everything so I dont know if some of this stuff is already on here.

On Eirin's last spell, hourai elixir, if you look at the upper left hand corner, it says that they're still 2 more spell cards left.
When your over 80% or -80% a very small border appears around ur character.

Heh, heh, I havent really noticed alot of stuff in other Touhou games thats already been posted on here.
