I just got embodiment of the scarlet devil with the english patch, but I don't understand how to remap the keys... when I attempt to remap the keys, none of the buttons on my keyboard will change any of the key settings. It just says button0, button 1 etc. Any ideas whats going on?

Those options are to be used for Game Pads; it's just the way things work.

For keyboards, I'm going to plug this here.
