Your own boss attack is a dice roll as she has attacks that shoot an ungodly amount of reflectable white pellets and the AI is a master at reflecting every single one back at you.
What you get as a result is a ping-pong match of 100 bullets going at 500 m/hour of which you will inevitably lose the match of most of the time.
Really, your own level 4 is your worst enemy.
Kotohime as the stage 7 decisive match is also the worst possible character you can get for that and she will rape you completely to shreds.
Chiyuri herself is also really fast which makes dodging hard sometimes and her level 1 charge is kind of bugged in that you can't bomb while it's active.

Her killing time is moderate, there are certainly characters that take a much longer time. The issue with her is survival.
And good luck if you're going to try this because it's seriously a thing of ridiculous proportions. I'm not kidding. Clearing with Chiyuri is 10 times harder than with anybody else.

Oh I thought it was just that she took forever. I've never done a serious attempt with her before so I never noticed her own boss attack screwing her over. :derp: Well I'll still take a shot at it, probably after EoSD, which will hopefully prepare me for light-speed bullets.

Nah that's Kana. She has an extremely high survival rate but it takes forever for the bosses to die. Mainly because non of her attacks do anything remotely threatening to the AI and almost all hits to the AI come from it ramming enemies.
A single stage can literally take up to 8 minutes. :V

Meh. Fucked up a no-bombs run of MoF. The run had its moments like a splendid performance on Stage 4 and some really cool evasive moves on Stage 3 in situations where I'd otherwise be screwed but then I have to die stupidly on Stage 2. Twice. Once on the stage portion right before her midboss card and once on her 2nd spellcard. I dunno, the bullets usually doesn't cluster up like that. I don't think I die at all on Stage 3 or 4 until I hit Aya who then proceeds to kill me on her 1st spell, her 2nd and 3rd non as well as PWG. Sanae's stage even got me as I forgot how to properly approach it. So I died there twice too. Sanae was perfect obviously but then I stream the wrong way in Stage 6.

Stream the wrong way... I could probably even maybe have 1cc'd if I could just get through the Stage. Kanako only has a few spots that are dangerous though I'm sure I would've made a trivial mistake on Source of Rains or something like that.

The nice part about this run is that I only had deaths to easily avoidable situations that I failed due to not having played the game seriously for a long time. I'm sure I can pull this off one of these days. I guess that'll be my new goal. I'll try to attempt it once everyday.

Things Alpha Werewolf does when not out of practice in <insert Touhou game>:
-Not bomb at all, making it very hard to actually 1cc.

Things Alpha Werewolf does while really out of practice in EoSD and adrenaline'd because of that:
-Die without bombing twice on Meiling's last spell card.
-Still make it to the attack phase right before Red Magic after capturing Curse of Vlad Tepes for the first time in his life.

Conclusion:
-Need to play Touhou while out-of-practice and adrenaline'd in order to be good at it.

Logic:
-Dead.

With this kind of performances, I'm never going to get that NFDB Normal. Maybe I'll just go for NFDBT TD Normal on the same charachter.

Yeah, I was rather sleepy while posting my previous post, so you could say that I did say something rather... idiotic.

The third spell, however, is somewhat possible to be done nonvertically with a bit of practice. At least on easy. The second one would be a nightmare.

On a more ontopic issue, I tried to micrododge Earth Light Ray in between the waves on Youmu without focus.

It worked.

So I could've done that instead of actually trying to misdirect the waves.

I actually did some testing and NV captured Reisen's third on normal, and going through the walls on her second is possible, so it's doable, at least with TAS : P

It seems to be quite possible indeed. ~~Atleast with border team.~~ Nevermind, RNG lucking out works fine for other teams aswell.

I knew no vert IN 1cc of Normal was possible, at least in theory. I could never stop screwing up and always lost to Reisen when I tried.

I think Nether team is probably best for it because you get more speed for collecting point items, yuyuko's spread for stages, and Youmu's bomb is decent enough. Also they don't do bad at bosses if you only use Focus to dodge or reset Myon and shoot unfocused with Youmu for damage. Not to mention the whole getting a bomb after a stage if they have less than 3.

So, I've just played PCB Stage 4 Easy to unlock Fazioli Dark Performance E (on spellcard results page, with everything else unlocked, including Lunatic and Extra). I was really sleepy at the moment, so I didn't noticed that I... failed. I didn't even got to the midboss!
