136k point-item value (WR has 144k) when stage 3 starts, then I die. Then I fail Marisa's first card and something in the stage I can't remember. I end a ton of noncards way too early. I missclick X at stage 6. I fail three of Kaguya's Last Spells.

Hooo. That was fun, let's do it again tomorrow!

You can "cheese" it doing only minimal movements, and misdirecting the boss. At least on normal, haven't really tried using Suika on other difficulties.

I just fucked up Selaginella 9 in one of my Stage 3 Lunatic practice runs (Touhou 6). To me, Selaginella 9 is easy as shit. (I am not a normal Lunatic player, but my track record goes against the idea that I should be bad at Selaginella 9)

I death-shoot (press Z instead of X)
Then, I go to dodge, realize I messed up and push C instead of X. I dodged it anyway though :V

How did I just do that badly against Yuyuko. HOW.

Entered with seven lives, came out of it with three, despite getting an extend during the fight. That just does not happen.

The worst part is that by some dark magic that run, of all of them, was the one containing my second ever capture of Sumizome Perfect Blossom. WHAT IS THIS. (I say worst because due to the rest of the fight being horrible, there is no replay.)

Well it helped enough because it gave me a good tech for Rianbow UFO and let me shotgun the green to death (still died once on it). I JUST beat her for the first time ever. =D

So I figured I'd take another stab at Gold medals in Fairy Wars. This time raising the bar from Normal to Hard mode. And yeah, the patterns have certainly gotten tougher and they were pretty tough to no-freeze before. Now... they have gotten really interesting. I'm just sad that ZUN omitted the practice start option in this game. That would've really helped.

Oh and if there were spell practice then the game would be fucking awesome. Imagine that. A playground with 250 hardass spellcards, some of them borderline impossible!
But whatever, can't get all we want. Just hope that this kind of bullet patterns show up in TH14 (though some would probably want to be nerfed a bit)

So why am I posting here? Because I've spent 6 attempts trying to Gold Medal Luna's 2nd card in Stage 1 and I haven't suceeded despite figuring out the pretty simple pattern after the 2nd attempt. I keep messing the pattern up though. Imagine that. Its getting late though and I'd rather not miss too much sleep so I'll capture it tomorrow.

It took me only 6-7 months and it happened to me more than 100 times now (~~because desires of score~~) :getdown:

My first Midboss ram was Rumia on Easy, the first time I played Touhou.

Decided to try to do a perfect normal stage 5 in TD since I was bored.

Run #1: Ran into a fairy before midboss.
Run #2: Bumped into the second big fairy in the opening in an attempt to get closer.
Run #3: Spaced out when doing midboss card and took an arrow to the knee
Run #4: Bumped into a big fairy again. Starting to lose my nerve at this point.
Run #5: Got hit by a random bullet during the first set of six fairies
Run #6: Somehow flew right into a bullet during the opener fairies

Maybe I'll try again when I'm calmer.

Oh, my derp, you ask?

ONE: For mere lolz, I decided to try Lunatic Imperishable Night. I made it past the first two stages and up to Keine in Stage 3 with NO LIVES LOST (I'm a low level player) and then?
I died with bombs in stock three times.
But not on her spells.
I captured General Headquarters and the laser one (!!!)
I died twice to...
Country.
And once to a nonspell.
COUNTRY MFW WHAT.
Still amazing for me!
