So, I want to type to clear my mind. And it just has to be public, but the moments are best suited here. Fooling around and .ASP is soon going to overtake the score by a large margin, and I'm putting off practice where it counts. Well, can't ignore the game completely so let's do something. How about a no-focus/no-bomb run! And so after dying on stage two the second attempt results in a run with five misses, four non-intentional border breaks, and I don't want to count how many for 80% Reflowering because the whole run sounds stupidly bad now.

Everything goes without a hitch until endstage Alice's opener. I should know better than to move back down that time but didn't care so much because of the border which broke the fall. Not so much leeway in the planning, but with ignoring cherry items, no shooting during boss armor, and border peace I'm sure a route can be worked out to make a no-miss / no-bomb / no-focus / fuckton of border breaks run very accessible.
Death on Hanged Hourai Dolls. Either I could have tried to time it out or tried to be more sensible about my positioning when the bullets were being fired off.
An error but not a mistake where I left myself unable to shoot down the last set of kedama right before Lily White. Last time I ran this was the no-miss / no-bomb run with the same problem so I'll have to look into it. Or maybe I was being too wary about the lack of focus tapping.
Now, for Lily White herself I made a mistake but not during the red/blue spam. Poor sense to try and finish her off before the next spam wave which wouldn't matter because she'd still be defeated before they became a threat, but that's what happened. I didn't follow the same plan used for the stage four no-focus perfect attempts and felt a little pressured at the end, hitting one of the white pellets.
Used the border invulnerability to break through Lunasa's purple wave, but we're running a no-focus and she won't be down before the blue wave crushes the player. Another miss to mark off.
Silly moment and died to the beginning of the stage five streaming section, but I should be grateful for everything so far.
Border break on Hell God Sword, what else is new. But you know, it really isn't such a bad spell and timeouts aren't ridiculous. Doesn't help when it's a full run and you're worried more for your life. Sort of shut down and didn't scan the left side for an opening, more concerned about expecting a break so I can run over after that wave and finish off the spell.
Another non-fatal error on Eternal Truth. Supposed to wait for the border to time out so I have enough cherry from ending the spell to last stage six, and I did that for a while but jumped the gun and finished the spell moments before the border ended. Ended her last spell on a poor note as well and chances for a border on stage six were slim, but I lucked out and activated it during the spam, breaking it a few seconds later. Unrelated, but on an older no-focus run with Marisa-A she survived the spam which was pretty neat. It's saved somewhere and not a fairy tale.
Oh hey, I forgot about Deadly Dance! Not confident enough to use the full circling method but I forgot the strat for the regular method. Circled her starting from the bottom so I could leave the loop later and dodge the regular way. Didn't pay enough attention to the bubbles and I streamed too quickly to the left, ready to die from a bubble wall-in. Fortunately this bubble wave was spread thin and I slipped through it.
Died to Sumizome Perfect Blossom from sucking and being too cautious.
80% Reflowering...I was too slow (and cautious to a fault) and didn't react fast enough to move up out of the way of one of the waves. Really, really not a thing to hesitate on. And that's all.
