>"It looked neat."

> "You came because you thought it looked neat? Well, I must say, that is surprisingly simple, not that their is anything wrong with that." Kanako gives a friendly laugh and smiles a bit.
> "I have a request to make of you Flandre. A certain... 'ordinary witch', borrowed something from this Shrine, and I would like it back. Could you do this for me? It's a religious tome, but the witch asked to borrow it because she noticed it had a useful spell within it. Do not worry, should you choose to accept, I will reward you once you return with the tome."

>"Why are there so many swords? Is Marisa a secret knight? Or secret samurai? Or a secret samurknight?"

> "Marisa loves collecting things, even if someone else owns them. The swords all have magical power within, thus why she might be intrested. I can tell that the tag from Sarahlumendia has incredible magic power, as does that Sohpia Pithos sword. Although, she might be able to use swords as well, but you would have to ask her that."

(FFVII and Tales of Symphonia references spotted.)

> "I just thought that name sounded cool. Miss Windy Goddess wanted us to get a white book with a star made of triangles on it."

> "Windy Goddess... oh, Kanako Yasaka. A white book with a star made of triangles... hm, if Marisa has it, it must be magical, but white is such an odd color for magical tomes. It might be in her room. Go ahead and check."

Nice, that's the easy 2, the other two are better hidden. Know thy fanfics to know one of the other 2, and the last... hehehe

>Check Marisa's room for Judaica!

> You go into Marisa's room looking for the book and what do you know, it's right on the night-stand by her bed! Seeing it, you can make out some of the lettering on the cover "_______ Deities of ___ world" Item Get-o! Kanako's Religious Tome.

>_

The ___ is a part Flan can't make out/understand.

Actually, no. The Material Blade is from Tales of Symphonia,
Spoiler:
and with a certain plot item, a ring that the main character Lloyd Irving gets, the Material Blade, two seperate blades of Fire and Ice, becomes a larger Purple/Violet sword called the Eternal Sword
, and is not referencing FFs Materia Blade. Good eye though, I didn't notice the similarity in name till now. One of the tiems shows up in a touhou fanfic here on Shrinemaiden.
