>If it results in slowing down time, run circles around Jan and Trance for fun.

>The parser really missed you! ;_;
> :) It does allow in a slightly better time slowdown! You dash around Jan and Trance a little bit, eliciting a chuckle from each.

>Are both the paths wide enough for mama leech?
>If so, North.
>If not: South

>The change in wideness doesn't seem to be very significant, so you all decide to head north anyway.

>As you move on, you can immediately note that the cavern is very dry. There is not even water dripping from the ceiling. Sana handles the torch again, but you don't see anything of interest for a good hundred meters or so.
>However, you eventually stumble across something, literally. Jana stubs her toe and trips! After being helped up, you discover what appears to be a chunk of rock embedded into the ground. Oddly, it is a completely different color from the cavern stone, but it looks as if it is part of the cave.

> :) You try and connect the signs in your head, but it just looks like a funny zig-zag line. But you soon notice that the pattern repeats itself every so often... Every 11 signs, in fact. It is worth noting that the vast majority of the signs are on your right side, with only one on the left out of all eleven. The ones on the right side are varying distances from the wall, with the distances as follows:

>Sign 1 - 2 feet
>Sign 2 - 3 feet, 1 foot from Sign 1
>Sign 3 - 2 feet, 9 inches from Sign 2
>Sign 4 - 2 feet, 1 foot from Sign 3
>Sign 5 - 1 foot, 3 inches from Sign 4
>Sign 6 - 8 feet (1 foot from the left-side wall), 4 inches from Sign 5
>Sign 7 - 0 feet (against the right-side wall), 4 inches from Sign 6
>Sign 8 - 2 feet, 4 inches from Sign 7
>Sign 9 - 2 feet, 1 foot from Sign 8
>Sign 10 - 3 feet 3 inches, 1 foot 3 inches from Sign 9
>Sign 11 - 2 feet, 6 inches from Sign 10
>The pattern repeats itself after several feet between each Sign 11 and Sign 1. With so many signs, you're having trouble visualizing it the pattern as a whole...

>Futahime: Mark other signs uniquely, like Sana did, to help make sure there isn't some sort of illusion/teleport maze involved in this mess.

> :V You draw a sword on one sign, and then a pen on another. Nothing seems to happen.

> :) You think the twelfth sign in the pattern would just be the first sign in a new repetition of the pattern. After telling Arashi of what you've found, she asks MJP to try drawing the pattern as described. You'll need to wait a little.
> :V You try drawing on another sign, indicated by Sana. A picture of a crown does nothing. You also know too little about Miss Mouse, so you don't really know.
> :3 You try to view from above, but the tunnel ceiling isn't high enough. You do think you have a better idea of how this pattern works, though.

>Spoony Bard: Could this pattern be some sort of magic ritual setup?

> :) You start lifting a sign! Jan and Trance see what you're trying to do and move to help you out. With a bit of heave-hoing, the three of you manage to pull a sign from the ground!
>Other than the small hole int he cobblestones from where the sign used to be, nothing seems to have changed.

> :3 The magic circles you're used to tend to use circles. While it is possible that the pattern of signs is part of a larger array, Sana's map doesn't show much of a way for this to be part of a circle... Or any other shape, for that matter.

> :) You hear Arashi's voice in your ear! "MJP finished drawing out the pattern... I think you should try it yourself. It looks like a medical thing, doesn't it?" You hear triangles's voice, a bit further-away-sounding. "It looks like a heartbeat diagram."
