I did another bit of the EoSD afterword. It's turning out to be... very interesting to say the least, heh.

Hello, I would like RegaSound's Sleeping Forest to be translated.

Oh, and also if you have time I request translations for Alicema,Black Lotus, and Kimino Museum's Bad Apple!!

Gotcha, here's the translations of RegaSound's Sleeping Forest
I'm working on the other two as well but since I also need to get some studying done, they'll probably finished after Thursday or Friday.
Sorry for the wait. :ohdear:

Can someone translate:
-レベルは遐灌になりました- please? It's part of TPW Evo and deranged tells me it's a weird mixuture of Chinese and Japanese (maybe he just over looked this line though, it looks awfully mostly Japanese to me >=P)

Hate to be a bother, but it would be better to translate this from the lyrics card for proper spacing and such.

It says something like "Your level has become 遐灌" and since I don't know Chinese, I'm lost on what this word will be. I'm guessing it might be a reference to a name or something
Hope it helps.

O.O
Never knew such a helpful site existed.
Unless someone wants to edit stuff themselves, I'll upload a revised version based on those scans on a later day.:D
Thank you for the helpful reference  :)

Hmm, I don't know if this would be alright, since its only vaguely Touhou related.

Basically, would anyone be able to help me translate something into Japanese? I'd like to ask a touhou artist for permission to use their artwork / line art, however I can't write Japanese myself.

Many thanks if anyone is able to help and sorry if my request is too off-topic.

This is also a role that I wished for this thread to fulfill so don't worry, take it easy!
Just give the word and I'll try to do my best on it :)
I would also be good if you can give tips on how the tone should be or what so ever.

Hi Sabino, I was wondering if you got part 5 of the MAG-net video. I have been waiting for the part 5 translation for a while and just now I realized that you might still need to video :(
If you do, I can upload part 5 to mediafire.

Got your PM, if it's possible, can I have a word on what circle you're sending this to?
If you are not good with telling, all is ok, but I thought I might want to know just in case so that what I write may not sound awkward.
(Ex. It wouldn't be too apropriate to say things like "you and you crew" when there are only one or two people in the circle.)

Oh wow, if you can, that'll help a bunch!
Yeah, since I've been trying to look up if I can DL at least the part 5 to check the words and timing but so far all the hits I got were humongous files that'd take all of my bandwith to DL.
Thank you for your help!

hmm, I also have a huge AVI file that I initially plan to split into 5 parts.
If that's still too big I can try to convert it into an flv file.
I need to know the duration of part 5 to split the video though. The entire length is 43:59, subtracting duration from the first four parts should give me a time but I don't have the duration of part 4.

The last part is not that long so avi is ok.
Since I've already put up part 4 on here, I think Furi should up the fourth part some time soon, so if its possible to splice the video at where part 4 ends, that'll be good I think.

this song too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRqw4_wXs6A (XD)
and this fanfic in japanese. the only thing who i know is who is a Touhou bl and shota Kourin in it. i try to translate with the google translator, but i don?t understand nothing.  http://www.mediafire.com/?blinyl24umj

Now that study and cram is out of the way for a while... I went on a rampage of translations and uploading, and here you have some of them.

______________________________

These videos

Seriously...I always wanted to know what they are saying. These videos need love <3

So the first one to those videos, EoSD for busy people first ep is done.
I really want to translate ep 10 since it has overdose of Japanese madness so I'll get through these quickly.
Yes, motivation is the key to everything :D

Quote

In the same vein, because I have suddenly been seized by a fever to see all the official stuff translated: http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Immaterial_and_Missing_Power:_Stages, please? And if you're REALLY in the mood for something long (doesn't have to be done anytime soon), http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Imperishable_Night_Demo:_Afterword would be nice.
So this is the IaMP story mode stages . ZUN has really outdone himself in the storytelling of IN trial ver. omake text so that'll take a while longer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SjffsOvzPY
I got it upped to youtube :)

Thanks to you the 5th part is done and sturdy!
Many thanks!

Also, Furi, here's the TL for the video you told me about on PM
Terurin story part 1 TLs
It looks like it'll be a fun project to do... but you sure you can edit everything? It looks way more difficult then some of the stuff we've done in the past.

Hmm? "who say there"??? Anyhow...
Here's the first song you have listed there.
There were lots of Knajis that wern't used on normal bases so it turned out to be quite the flamboyant strange and agressive poem.
Also, since I haven't seen the scans I don't know if I can space it out like jiggly wants me to.

Personally, since I have tons more stuff to get to, I don't really want to spend too much time in editing the spacing,
so if anyone's up for that, they're more than welcome to add in spaces and take out spaces.
...Then again, if nobody's up for it, I guess I can do it myself too...

♪2. A Soul as Red as a Ground Cherry
Since we still have the reference to Hozuki there, I think it better to use Hozuki in the title and include ground cherry in the note there.
I'm also a bit picky on this because when I was doing research, I found that Hozuki as a kanji could also be written as 鬼灯 or 酸漿.
The significance in this is because the first one can be read as Oni's lantern lights... and I don't think I need to go farther than that or explain the significance of the word Oni being there.

Otherwise, I haven't spotted any major things yet. Nice work!
Although at places, you might want to keep away from complex and flamboyant words.

Nah, I always do that with non-voice actors speaking stuff since they don't always have the best of pronunciations, better to note it down before I go "Hey, what's that again?"
But you saved me the trouble of downloading a few gigs and I'm really grateful for that. :)
Anyhow that's the entire thing for the MAG net special about Touhou. Hope you guys enjoy it!  :D

I didn't touch the song titles, that was jigglypuff's and I kind of agree with why he kept them the same because I just know that SOMEONE is going to be upset about changing them at this point after all this time, although I would be more than happy to re-translate a few of those song titles, particularly Cirno's theme. Having "tomboyish" and "girl" in the same title is incredibly redundant. I'll probably go check them over sometime later, change what I feel needs changing, and see what happens.

Also, why have the ground cherry part in there at all? English doesn't have the same pun, so might as well change it something that fits the theme of the game better? "A Soul As Red As an Oni's Lantern"
