Just checked out UKT's new world record for SA, and tried to mimic what he did for the first half of Stage 3. Managed to pull it off a few times, though I'm still working out how he's getting more graze than I am on Yuugi's first nonspell (have an idea, but can't test it yet). While it may be possible I or someone else finds a way to get more graze there, I kinda doubt it'll happen, so it's nice to know I can do at least one part of this game with score in mind.

Timing out Saigyouji Flawless Nirvana seems to be the cool thing to do nowadays, so I cranked out the Lady Gaga music and got to not shootin' and got the card down to 30 seconds at one point.

Then after that it was just AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH and how is that even possible god damn.

Why is 65-50 seconds the easiest part of the whole card?

With all the PoDD playing lately, I decided to give the game a spin once more. 2cc with Reimu (Mima stole the precious 1cc), including me defeating Chiyuri my very first try against all odds. Fun game as long as you don't aim to 1cc.

Only stage 3 and stage 4 SA really require any memorizing. And the first part of Stage 5.

UFO requires a hell of a lot more than that.

Yeah. I bomb those sections. The MoF/SA bomb systems completely eliminates the necessity of memorization. Almost.

Depends on how suicidal you are at collecting UFOs. If very, impossible. If rational, just about as hard as normal.

SA helped me remember ANOTHER reason I don't like it. With the bomb spamming and the prodigious amount of lives given, I can play shitty and still end with 4 lives. >:[ I mean, I GUESS this is much better than any previous 1cc, but -

Well, I just got my first capture of Scarlet Gensokyo (lunatic), on an EXCELLENT stage 6 practice run.
I captured every card in the stage except Scarlet Meister.
...and it was only THEN that I realized EoSD doesn't let you save replays from practice runs.... T.T

(Ok, I'm only 80% certain I captured Eternal Meek. I think so, but the runs blend together a little. But still ^^;)

Finally captured Cephalic Plate (even though I still don't know exactly how it works). That and the fact I'm getting a bit better at Hydro Camouflage are my only high points for the day.

Apparently, I can consistently reach Chiyuri in Lunatic PoDD with at least two extra lives. But only if I play as Kana. And I get Chiyuri to half a heart left about 2/3rds of the time.

This is strange. Also, good. But... if I'm that good when I play Kana, why do I not do quite as well playing someone like Reimu or Yumemi?

How the heck can Koishi win that poll? Sure, she was the final extra boss i took down (Nue wasn't around back then) but playing against her today she is easy cake. Maybe its a lot of people who have only cleared extras once and reflect on how much effort each boss took them. I did spend quite some time on all of the extra bosses as i was bad at Touhou when i decided to do it. Koishi was the hardest though. Back then that is.

Now its by any means Nue. With only two lives + 1 in the battle there is the least room for error.

How can you find Nue of all bosses to be the hardest? Her only three non-easy cards are Undefined Darkness, which isn't that bad, Rainbow UFO, which surprisingly isn't too evil if you do it correctly, and then Grudge Bow because that last phase is damn. Everything else should be beatable with 1 bomb at the most.

Koishi and Yukari are the only two Extra bosses that I can't clear consistently. Heck, I hadn't done Flan in a year(since beating her), then last week I finally fought her again and cleared 2/2 with a QED capture that I'm very happy about. And that's with a death 3 bombs in stock on Maze of Love, since it was the first time I'd ever tried to do it the right way (at least I only died once on it :\)

Koishi probably won that poll because she's arguably the hardest to beat for the first time. For some reason she gets significantly easier after that first clear though.

I'm starting to find Koishi to be way easier now, but still easy to clip.
Right now UFO > SA extra b/c of the stage portion.
SA extra stage is even easier than MoF for some reason (maybe I should bomb more in MoF).
Flandre is WAY too over rated. Her non-cards are very easy. Her cards can be beaten with at most 1 bomb.
