So um, tried MoF Lunatic seriously for the first time. After like 2 restarts from dying to Shizuha, I made it all the way to Source of Rains. Keep in mind I'm a Normal/Hard mode player and that I've only 1CC'd Hard once :V

Edit: holy shit, beat kanako on a continue, meaning I could totally 1CC this if I reached her with 2 lives

YESSSSS![UFO Normal No-Focus 1cc! This is great. Except FF, that was a mess of epic proportions.

Character Overview:

Reimu A:
Pros:
Can hit boss with all but two needle streams, IE she still gets a lot of her DPS.
Most damaging bomb in the game.
Reimubox.
Cons:
Both her shot and bomb are terrible for stages.

Overall: Good if you have little stage trouble.

Reimu B:
Pros:
Homing means she's always getting all her dps (unless caveat below).
Bomb is versatile.
Reimubox.
Cons:
Getting too close to the edges can throw off her homing.
Weakest shots.
Parasol Star Symphony hurrr  :V
Overall: Good overall.

Marisa A:
Pros:
Piercing, which actually does things in this game.
Good DPS.
Bomb is great and multi-purpose.
Cons:
Can be bad for some stage portions.
3.00 can be stronger than 4.00 because it's easier to land 3 beams on a boss.
Overall: Great. 

Marisa B:
Yeah, good luck with that...

Sanae A:
Can't give any advice here since I didn't try her for the no-focus.

Sanae B: The one I cleared it with
Pros:
Shot destroys all the stages.
Bomb is excellent when paired with shotgun.
Cons:
Spread shot is hard to land on bosses when far away.
Overall: Excellent, if you're ok with taking your time to kill bosses.

I did get lucky on one occasion in the timeout but i don't really care. How many in the west have done this before?

Huge, huge congrats, man. That was very interesting to watch... I noticed you stuck almost entirely to macrododging the waves rather than going between the amulets as I'd been doing, which looks a lot more sensible. :V How long have you been practicing this? It looked like you've learned the card really well.

I have a lot of experience with this card and i have had many 1-death timeouts before this. Timeouts that were ruined by silly mistakes. Not walls. In fact, i rarely ever run into walls in VoWG. The more experience you have with the card, the easier it is to predict what its gonna do so you can avoid walls.

Now quit being a douchebag eh? I'm proud of this. Even if it was VoWG that showed mercy i wouldn't really care about it. I don't really feel like adding an additional "No Luck" tag to a timeout. A timeout is a timeout.

I wonder, what is the more common approach to this card when talking about dodging? I prefer macrododging too, but are a bunch of others also trying it that way?

5th? There is something golden about that i think. Even if it was 10th i would still be happy considering that there is quite a lot of people playing these games. Relatively so obviously.

As for the way of handling VoWG there is the Kefit way, the FAV way and apparently i have invented a new way. :V
That's also one of the reasons VoWG is so excellent. There is so many ways you can play it.
