Beat Hazard

This game, which is based on the music you give it (much like Audiosurf), is currently available on Steam for $7.50 (normal price is $10, sale ends thursday), and on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 400MSP ($5).

I really have nothing to add that would be more persuasive, but I'll gladly answer any questions.

EDIT: Just got nearly 2 million points in Condemnation Wings ~Cry Camelia...~ Hardcore. :o

Seems the only really decent thing to come out of the Xbox Live Marketplace that isn't a remake/shmup.

Dragonforce fury of the storm will instantly win the leaderboards...

Insane mode is hellaz fun.  Especially when you can't see half the stuff coming at you due to the awesome, seizure inducing visuals.

I managed to hit Elite after two hours of play.   :V

Hmm. Looks fun, but im not sure if it would last me all that long though. Then again, that price is really persuasive. I might look into this.

UPDATE: Turns out the PC version seems to have some features that the 360 version lacks, which explains the higher price tag, I guess. Cannot elaborate further, as I have not played the 360 version, but from watching youtube vids I don't think it's got Insane difficulty.

Also, I'm ranked Elite late-20-something. Game is awesome, even if Insane makes me rage so goddamned hard

EDIT: Wow, I was off. At the time of that typing, I was Elite 44. I am currently Elite 71. Also,

hah hah I can't believe I was proud of this

12 million points in the same song on Insane.

I tried playing a random podcast on Insane and failed horribly.  Too many moments with no noise renders me unable to kill the boss.

That video is cool though.   :V

Interesting take on the music action game...Not sure if I'm interested enough to play it, though.

To be honest, it's not like the game is terribly expensive or anything like that.

$10 is pretty much the price of two or three meals.  So stop eating for a day and buy the game.   :V
