>"Damn straight it is!"

>You waste no time in letting the Blue and Red Gems empower the Purple Gem, then firing on Yorihime. The Purple Gem's shots, now enhanced, are larger than before, and fan out in a tight spread rather than conforming to a straight line. Yorihime wastes no time in leaping back from the door, hitting the ground in a roll, and coming up with her sword drawn.
>The courtyard erupts into chaos as the gathered rabbits try to figure out what is going on. Youmu passed by you like a shot, making a beeline for the rabbits.
>"I'm not certain how you distracted the Gods," says Yorhime. She starts to dash backwards, holding her sword as though she were trying to slice through the air. In its wakes, a cloud of danmaku stirs from the air currents and starts to twist toward you. "But I must give you my regards for cleverness!"

Yay combat! To voices: The pollen of deathiness needs to be brought into play once we start to get a feel for Yorihime's attacks.

> Use the card that takes the least toll on your mental state.

>Your spellcards are:
>Visionary Wave: Mind Blowing
>A more dense pattern following the same principle as Wave Sign: Mind Shaker. Reality will be terribly distorted to the victim.
>Lunatic Sign: Visionary Tuning (significantly expended)
>You disalign the wavelengths of a complex maze of bullets to try and trick your opponent into moving recklessly.
>Lunatic Gaze: Illusion Seeker
>Much like Lunatic Sign: Visionary Tuning, with a more aggressive pattern. It takes all of your concentration to use this well.
>Loafing Sign: Idling Wave (half expended)
>This attack surrounds your target with bullets, and distorts them, forcing them to make fast decisions to avoid being caught in the middle.
>Indolence: Mind Stopper
>It takes a lot of concentration to correctly apply this card and keep up the stream of bullets.
>Spread Sign: Invisible Full Moon
>Overlapping dense circular patterns of bullets, and alternating their wavelengths to force the victim to see one or other. It is simple, yet highly effective against the unwary.
>Lunar Eyes: Tele-Mesmerism
>This is your ultimate attack, hitting an opponent with two huge waves of bullets, then shifting them as much as you can. It will leave you with a nasty headache and blurred vision.
>You keep dodging, as another wave of bullets twists and writhes past you.
>Thinking carefully, Visionary Wave: Mind Blowing should be very easy to use. But you aren't sure how effective it would be at this very second.

> Look for an opening to unleash Visionary Wave: Mind Blowing.

>You dodge, away from the next few waves, as Yorihime ducks and weaves about. You shoot a barrage of normal danmaku every so often, but for now you focus on not getting hurt. You want her to be a bit off center from you, some yards away, but not too many yards away. Even then, you doubt the card alone will be enough, she's simply too agile. You do note a small cut to her side, though, with a bandage placed over it. It looks like Remilia really was able to hit her once.
>"Go Reisen!" shouts Kaguya from the edge of the courtyard.
>You move away from her sixth barrage, and then...there! An opening!

> Use Visionary Wave: Mind Blowing
> Lock on with the green gem.
> Add the powers of the other three gems to the card.
> UNLEASH THE FURY.

>You decide that you simply cannot hold back against Yorihime, even in her present state. You infuse it with the power of the Green Gem, then let the add in the others. You feel it all flow through you in an electric tingle, and into the card.
>You declare the card, giving Yorihime a moment's respite as the card invokes a ring of bullets around you. A beams radiate out from the circle, while flames leap between some of the bullets at random intervals. Then you let the illusion fall before it becomes too much to hold, revealing the second ring you created, while firing a few more circles.
>Yorihime ducks under and around the beams, turning the motion into an upward slash that sends a few scattered danmaku you way. They are nothing to worry about. The outer rings of bullets reaches her, forcing Yorihime back a little before she starts to cut through them with her sword. You shift them again, and note to your satisfaction that not only do they shift, they turn and redirect themselves at Yorihime. You can see the look of concentration on her face as she tries to pick her way through them, and not get struck by the flames bouncing between them or the lasers that cut through the whole mess.
>You shift again, redirecting the whole mess. Yorhime dashes forward toward you, then has to stop as the bullets close in on her. Then..she cries out, as one of the flames strikes her in the torso!

>If possible, withdraw the deadly pollen and throw the flask at her while she's distracted by the pain. Preferably break it on her face. In fact, use the green gem to home the flask in on her.

>Unfortunately, the Green Gem is already occupied, and you don't think that you could infuse it into things other than yourself or your spellcards. But you produce the Vial of Pollen, as Yorihime approaches you while the card's effect shifts, and throw it at her. Your spellcard wavers from the momentary break in your concentration, but holds fast. She brings up her sword and deflects the bottle from hitting her, but the neck snaps off from the impact and sends a fair amount of pollen hint the air. She cries out as some of it gets into her face, while the rest of the bottle spins away uselessly into the ground. Then the next wave of bullets comes, and she is in no condition to dodge them as she tries to clean out her eyes while sneezing. She tries her best, but a bullet slams into her arm and forces her back a little. Still, she is only a few yards from you.

>Replace all instances of the word flask up there with vial. Further, before doing this try to remember if pollen would spread properly so Yori would breathe it in. Further, make sure to avoid the pollen cloud in the future during this fight.

>There isn't much of a cloud at the moment, not too much got released. But you make a note to avoid that area.

>Actually, also consider the viability of not using spellcards and just relying on non card danmaku and gem power for awhile.

To Voices: If we can use non card danmaku and still keep up a good fight, we'll be able to maneuver as well. But she'll likely not be pinned as easily as a spellcard does.

>Dodge, restart the prior spellcard, but keep the blue and green gems out of it. Instead use those to send lasers at Yorihime's eyes. The goal is to keep her vision fucked up so she will find it harder to hit us.

>You stay away from Yorihime's counterattacks and declare the spellcard once again, letting the Red and Purple Gems empower it. At the same time, you direct the Blue and Green gems to work together.
>As you unleash the first ring of danmaku, the Blue and Green Gems fire a swift laser that curves and slinks toward Yorihime, forcing her to dodge rather than press her attack. As the first ring splits into two, balls of fire explode from within the rings, making some of the gaps between the bullets inaccessible.
>Yorhime draws back, sneezing powerfully, then turns and runs for the far side of the courtyard, closing the ground within moments.

>Actually, also consider the viability of not using spellcards and just relying on non card danmaku and gem power for awhile.

>Having extra adaptability against Yorihime wouldn't hurt, but it would be harder to force her into a corner with just that. You suspect it is best to leave all your options open and not depend on any one thing for too long.

>As you do, Yorihime leaps toward the wall, then kicks off of it toward a tree; slashing through another laser as it curves toward her. She then kicks from the tree, and lands on the roof of Eientei. She beckons toward you as you draw out Loafing Sign: Idling Wave, then runs again.
