>You make your way through the Forest of Magic and around the lake without any issues. It's hard not to stop and contemplate the lake's icy surface, but the situation is severe enough that you can ignore the urge without difficulty.
>As you approach the gates of Scarlet Devil Mansion, the wolf notes your presence, and seems bemused by your coming from the opposite direction that you left him. Still, he remains at that spot as you pass by.

When things calm down, if Mistress allows, I may attend to it myself. Will that be fine?"
