>Suwako drops from her frog pose to a more humanlike cross-legged sit, listening quietly, her expression unchanged. "It was no accident," she says at length. "Patchouli did it very deliberately. She said the words, and she said them rightly. And I shall not forget that debt." A smirk dances across Suwako's lips. "And I know Watatsuki no Yorihime. I know her well. She's one of the better Lunarians, immigrants excepted. She almost makes me forget, sometimes. But I'll never forget what they did to Daikoku."
>She shifts again, dangling her feet off the edge of the roof, and resting her chin on her hands, a slight grin on her lips and her eyes narrowed. "So, you want me to pick a favorite, then? Patchouli or Yorihime? Gensokyo or Luna? The Pure Lands or the Defiled? That's an easy thing for me. But I won't be able to act alone. Still, I'll support you."

>Not a whole lot. You were never particularly religious, rabbits in general tend not to be. Though the Earth Rabbits do have a kind of fondness for Daikoku, enough to remember him in song if not with any actual devotion. As far as you know, though, it seems the Lunarians fully supported Kanako's side during the Suwa War, finding them more representative of ideal purity. You aren't sure if the Lunarians actually did anything, aside from a few sealings afterward.

You can see the main body of the shrine up ahead, and easy pick out a the door that Suwako pointed out to you, amidst two insecting hallways and four doors. One of the halls, you remember, leads to the basement.  Obvious exits are West, East, North 1, North 2, North 3, South 1 , South 2 and South 3.

>Kanako nods once, and gestures for you have a seat near the kotatsu. Her face seems to grow more grave, although her expression is unchanging, and you begin to feel more of the aura about her that you felt when you met her the first time. Sanae stays quiet, meekly folding her hands on her lap.

Note to other voices: I think a back-and-forth strategy would be best for dealing with Kanako. We were able to WoT Suwako into helping us since she was already inclined toward Patchy's side over Yorihime's, but Kanako will need convincing, and throwing a ton of words at her won't do that. Best to take her concerns and criticisms and deal with them as they are presented instead of showing our entire hand immediately.
