Double Spoiler overwrites higher scores with lower ones?

I noticed that in Double Spoiler, if I've cleared a scene more than once, the latest score ALWAYS overwrites the "Hi-Score" display even if it's lower. Is this a known bug, or is it just me?

I redid 1-1 and 1-2 taking the worst pics I could take, and they didn't overwrite my current high score.  I don't know what could be wrong with yours.

I've noticed the same thing happen for SP1+5, which means it could be limited to SP scenes only. Never seen it happen outside of them.

Well I know that if you hit "L" on an scene, it locks your current best picture. Maybe it locks your highscore as well?

Hm. I noticed this at first because I had a Best Shot score on SP-1 that was higher than my stage score, and thought I'd test it out on SP-5 as well since it's also only 1 photo. Trying it out on 1-2 retained my higher score. Maybe it's just those two stages, then.
