"You guess this being where Rumia is hidden is straight out, sadly" I couldn't figure out what that meant, so I assumed that it meant "Rumia could be in the room." Sorry I can't be Omniscient/Omnipotent/All Knowing.

Omnipotent is all-powerful. Omniscient is all-knowing. That you are omnipotent doesn't mean you are all-knowing. Using omnipotent in this context is incorrect.

/nitpick :V

(Sorry if I offended you with that)

I'm not offended, but you caught my drift right? I couldn't tell what he meant.

> Chaore just said that Rumia couldn't possibly be here.
> Draw blade and be ready for incoming attacks.
> Magic is thick here, right? Well, let's brush up our old magic skills and make a magical flashlight/shoot bright danmaku in there!

You've had Nyamune ready for a while, but you ready it for anything coming in.

You try using a few shots of danmaku to light the place up, but the light is quickly lost in whatever darkness this is.

>"Anyone there?"

You call out. You're answered with a snarl and a pair of glowing green eyes.

Ye gods, you knew it was dark, but you thought these things were legends!

I'm not offended, but you caught my drift right? I couldn't tell what he meant.

> Be ready for something to leap out of the darkness and attack us.
> Actually... if whatever might be within doesn't identify itself fire a "magic missle" at the darkness!

You're luckily prepared when it comes at you, but the beast strikes your blade with such strength you are sent staggering.

Surely, this must be the Legendary GRUE!

You are about to be eaten by it, you are almost certain.

>Back away!
>Check with Mackette, see if she senses anything

You back the hell away and cower towards the wall.

You ask Mackette if she senses anything, but it appears shes too busy cowering.

Even sharks fear the grue.

>Pray to Sanae for light!

You pray to Sanae for the only bane of the Grue as you pull back to the wall, waiting for the grue's vicious teeth to close in.

Your fear is interrupted by the GRUE promptly choking on a flashlight.

...

You're not sure what to say.

Well it is uh.

Yeah, its pretty much lodged right in it's throat.

You imagine you can tell because it isn't spewing all that darkness anymore, being somewhat busy with a flashlight in it's throat.

You don't think she meant to do that, really.

I mean she probably just manifested it in front of you and it ended up swallowing it while snapping at you.

You put the poor thing out of its misery.

A green light appears from it's corpse into a wall and shatters. You're not sure why, but you figure killing it probably did SOMETHING.

You apologize for having to give the GRUE such an unworthy death, and retrieve the flashlight from it's corpse.

You thank Mackette and Sanae. Though you're not certain if Sanae can hear, you're certain Mackette is pleased.

You examine the flashlight. You'd not know what this is were it not for Yukari fooling around, but you know the switch on the side of it should turn it on!

We could ask if Sanae would summon Chuck Norris or Thundr, Tear and several other Canadians, but I think she isn't strong enough for that yet....

You flash the light around in case any others are around here. All clear.

You would, but really you don't want to bother her for too much. A good light will be fine.

>Examine Grue room.
>"Hey Mackette, go check around the attic, see if one of the walls up there has fallen."

You look around. Other than the grue, this is just a normal room.

You send Mackette off, she reports she thinks everything is according to the map, still.

You're not sure, but you'd say it both lived in a dark place and had some kind of ball of darkness.

Like Rumia.

...You wonder if Rumia is a grue.

>Go back to the front part of the temple, see if it's still all bloody. Or if anything there has changed at all.

You find it the same, pretty much.

You can bet your ass. I'm a lot harder to summon than I look. All those stat bonuses need to come from somewhere, right?

You check out the room you fought the grue in, besides the ceiling hole you use to enter the attic area, the ceiling seems fine.

>Also check if the wall is weak enough to be broken down after that weird orb of light shattered on it.

You check. It seems to be about the same strength as the rest of the walls...

> Check everything, even the slightest discrepancy on the wall or floor.

You check everything until it drives you almost bonkers, SOMETHING has to have changed, you know it!
