>"What..."
>Try not to shudder too hard. Pick up some debris, and toss it at Shou.

>Ah. Just get a bit of throwable debris, then.

You suppress the creepy feeling and look around for something to throw. You back track to the guestroom and get a nice big piece of wall.

>I think he means the Shou apparition is no longer there.
>If I'm correct, try to locate the smell of fresh blood.

You try and hunt down where the blood smell is strongest. You find yourself getting steadily more towards the front of the temple, and where you imagine THAT probably happened. You don't like that implication.

> Add quest: Find psychiatrist. Quickly.

This may be a smart idea. A wonderful one really. You hope there is still one around.

>Head onward.

You head into THAT ROOM.

For a moment, You can almost see the scene fresh with corpses. You realize better within less than a second, but the image returns to you...

The room is indeed coated with Fresh blood. You're not sure who the blood belonged to, though.

> Pray to GOD that there aren't anymore rogue PC-98 characters around.

Well, you were prepared at least.

>Fresh blood? Oh dear.
>Inventory

This is rather alarming.

>Your inventory contains:
>Reisen's Old Clothing [Worn]
You're not sure how long Tewi had this hidden, but its not dirty or anything. It's Reisen's classic look.
>Familiar Pentagram [THE ROC]
A pentagram used to contain familiars, while it seems cruel, its actually the equivalent of a 5 star hotel in there.
>Familiar Topaz [YUMIGAMI]
An Topaz cut into a carrot shape, you're not sure how it is in there, but you're sure it must be perfectly comfortable.
>Frog Pin [Worn] [BROKEN]
A slightly Soggy Pin that Sanae treasured.
>SPACE Cape [Worn] [Unremovable]
Its a cape that appears to have space on the inside
>Broken Sword
Half a sword Meira used.
>Nyamune [Using]
Your trusty sword, it is a lot heavier than most other swords around here.
>Length Band
A band that goes to any length, so long as you can reach it.
>Red-Glass Mirror
A mirror completely turned red. It's not a good reflection for color, but good for just reflecting. Its handle is made of red-glass, hence the name.
>Silver Knives [Pair]
A pair of Silver Knives that Sakuya once used, besides the fact silver is a material well-known for its ability to conduct and counter magic, you think there isn't much magic in these anymore.
>Red Strip of Cloth [Important?]
A strip of Red cloth that Mackette's contract used to be in, you feel like you've seen it before...
>Knife Hilt [SEPERATION]
The knife hilt that used to house Seperation's blade, you can use it to call Seperation to your aid.
>Familiar Orb [MACKETTE]
A small crystalline orb, you're not sure if it is a proper container for a contract, but it seems to work well.
>Familiar Sculpture [RYUDAN]
A jade carving of a scale, You figure this one has to be a fancy palace inside, fit for a dragon.
>Higan Stone
A stone that will transport you across the Higan river from anywhere. Seems to vanish every now and then.
>Cybele Gem
A gem approximately the size and shape of a human eye, it is an amethyst with a hollow square inside. You don't imagine it was naturally made. There is a strong enchantment left inside of the gem.
>Familiar Combinae
You've heard of these, often considered a dark art as far as familiar-crafts go. It'll combine the traits of two items to summon or alter a familiar. The cost is usually heavy for the user, and you're not always guaranteed the familiar will HELP you.

You steady your breaths, and keep your juices down. You don't need to lose it here.

You examine the room. The room appears to be empty. There are a few holes in the wall, which seem old. They're probably from THAT INCIDENT. Some furniture is also out of place and knocked around, but seems to be mostly undamaged. You're surprised its even here, nothing keeps the scavengers out, really.

> Continue trying to avoid laughing due to insanity, as situations like this could break a person to the point of insanity and insane laughter.

Death isn't funny, you don't think you'll be laughing anytime soon.

The pattern is eerily similar, but you can't say with exact certainty.

> Study the blood splatters. Do they look like they are making a trail?
> If so, follow the trail of blood.

Kind of. Its really just splattered everywhere, but there is more blood in a few other rooms around here...

> Hope this is not Chris'sRan's blood.

You keep yourself as in control as you can and head into a bloodier room. This room seems to be a second shrine area, though you're not sure what they'd possibly need it for... The room seems fairly drenched in blood. As if someone exploded in here.

>Look around the room.

All the blood seems to smell and seem fresh, though it doesn't feel it. You look around the room.

Even for a shrine area, this room was pretty modest. The shrine table seems to have been smashed is half, probably by an anchor.

You say it out loud enough to be heard. ...You get no response.

You can't go anywhere from the extra shrine room. There are however, four hallways from the main room. One is the one you came from. Another is blocked by debris.

The last two have varying levels of blood coating them.

It would figure, wouldn't it.

Chen can't possibly make someone explode into gory little pieces (Unless Chen slashed the victim so incredibly fast at super sonic speed that the body exploded Fist of the North Star style. But if we could do that we wouldn't need a sword with us!). Give a small prayer to the poor sod who had to die in such a horrific way.

>Mutter. "Maybe it's just cursed. Guess it's not too surprising..."
>Head down the bloodier of the two unchecked hallways. Better to get that over with now.

It would make a deal of sense...

You head down the bloodier hallway.

There seems to be drips of blood and a lot of bloody footprints going down here. They end at one room.

> It seems like Yukari did the last room. Chen can't possibly make someone explode into gory little pieces (Unless Chen slashed the victim so incredibly fast at super sonic speed that the body exploded Fist of the North Star style. You hand out a prayer like candy to the poor soul.

Though, now that you think of it, who DID die like that?

> Ponder the likelihood of Murasa having survived due to being a ghost.

No, Murasa is pretty dead. Actually, now that you recall, she was the one that exploded.

But she didn't exactly leave blood behind. So, this can't all be from the real incident.

Someone or something is 'fabricating' this. They're replacing the residue Murasa left with blood, due to the difficulties of getting something like that residue.

>Well Lyrica and Merlin went missing even though they're poltergeists so I doubt being a ghost matters that much, and no one except *we already forgot about it* shouwed up till now even with all the yelling out loud.

>Pick up any debris around as projectiles.

You're not even sure what happened to those two, anyway.

You stock up on a few more pieces of debris.

You open the door and peak inside. It...actually seems rather clean. Either the person doing this ran out of time for this room, or ignored it.
