« on: February 27, 2010, 12:16:28 PM »
I just try to install PoFV english patch but it does not work and crashes. I already patch the 1.50a version. Try to patch using the eng patch and same thing happened. Did I done something wrong?

Is the directory located in Program Files?

No. It's in Touhou Project Collection folder. I tried copy Th9 folder to Program Files, tried patching again and the same problem still occurs.(Which shown at the picture above.)

Try patching the game to a more updated version first.

1.50a should be the latest version.  AFAIK, the English patch only works with that version.

Also, I got this strange feeling that you downloaded a batch torrent with all the Touhou games in it. :ohdear:

I have that feeling, too.

Anyway, are you running the patch with AppLocale?  I installed and patched it from the directory that the installer placed it in (contained kanji) so it was necessary then (well, I did something similar since I actually installed it in Linux).
Cheating? I cannot even wrap my head around the point of it. Wouldn't you know you had cheated? How on Earth could you maintain crisp certainty of your superiority to all others? And if you're unable to do that, what's the point of anything?
