> "She wouldn't have these pictures on her person would she?  Couldn't you just find them, hand them over, and let her out?"

>"She hides them somewhere," says Momiji. "And honestly, there's going to be a lot more of them than she could carry on her person. Yeah, if I could find them, I'd be bound to turn them over. Which is why she never told me, I guess. I prefer it that way, though."

>"Hmmm. Well, I can think of two places around the mountain," says Momiji. "There's the waterfall cave, because it's really dangerous. And the peak, back before the Shrine appeared."

> "Can you tell me anything else about the cave, as well as the peak of the mountain?"

>"About the peak? No. Nobody went up there, it was simply not a place to be touched by the presence of people like us. We didn't even fly over it. We think that is why the Moriya Shrine was able to appear there, it was such a pure space that Kanako was able to find it. As for the cave, well, I've heard old stories of the occasional daredevil who tries to go inside it, and got themselves seriously hurt or killed. But I think they're just stories to scare people from going in there. No one does anyways, it's pretty dangerous."

>"Good luck," says Momiji. "Try not to get any divine wrath, I've heard that Suwako likes to go for the throat!"
>You head through the town, your wolf companion following close behind.
>Entering the Shrine Grounds, you find Sanae messing with a shimenawa around one of the trees. "Welcome back, Reisen!" she says. "Oh, is that a huskie? How cute!"

>"Oh, really?" She gives the wolf an appraising look. "He looks just like this huskie I used to know."
>"Uh, well, maybe?" she says, frowning. "That's kind of a big question. What are you looking for? I guess as long as you don't poke around inside much, or get into the pond, it should be okay. Oh, and don't go through any of the shimenawa, of course. Not really much to see except grass and dirt and snow, though. "

>"No problem," she says.
>You circle around the back, wondering if those rumors are true. It'd be kinda cute, but also inconvenient for you. Luckily, then, it doesn't seem to be the case.
>Kanako sits on a bench close to the wall of the shrine, cradling a steaming cup in her hands. It's hard not to stare at her. She seems so...ordinary now. When you saw her before, there was no question of who she was or her status. But this person feels almost like an impersonator, just a tall woman with impressive blue hair.
>"I didn't expect you again, today." she says. Even her voice feels...off now. "Please, have a seat."
>She gestures toward an open spot on the bench.

>"Quite well," she says, "They should tend to themselves for some time now. The clouds should break up by midnight. You seem to have been busy, yourself."
>You remember the first time you met the Princess, against when you met her this morning. You suppose this feeling is similar, but it's so much more noticeable. It really is as though she's a different person, or rather a different person is trying to be her.
