A break week doesn't seem so bad now. The more I look at Touhou 12.5 spoilers, the more I want to play it. Plus I'll be very busy this week, so I won't have much time to play anything outside of short bursts here and there. (Which is what ZUN intends his photography games to be for anyway. :V)

I like it quite a bit so far. Giga-Suika is hilarious, but that scene isn't very fun due to how difficult it is to get a picture of her: even if she's fully in your scope and you take a shot, it doesn't register sometimes.

I thought I actually had a chance of making it to Stage 5 Original after doing a 1 death run of stage 3(and all my bombs on the other life) then I had to go and derp a lot on Stage 4 and not even make it to the boss. I wish I could actually learn Stage 3's boss.

Made it to 90,000,000 though, so I still haven't gotten the second extend.

Edit: 2 deaths on Stage 3 boss. Derped a little less on Stage 4 but got farther than the previous run. Just over 92,000,000. How am I supposed to dodge the stage 3 boss's attacks. Abnormal Reco can get me around some of them, but then I'd have trouble with the stages. Any other character, I have to actually dodge a lot of crap. I have trouble with the stages with both variants of Palm, but not as much with Normal Palm, but then I have trouble with the bosses as well. Abnormal Palm gets me killed on the stages, but not as much on the bosses. Stage 3 boss and Stage 4 are currently what is kicking my ass. Sometimes Stage 3, but not as much any more. And I'm pretty much inconsistent on Stage 5. Even if I got to Larsa, I probably wouldn't have the lives needed to take her down.


Another Edit: What the hell do you mean I died to the damn stage 3 boss 4  times? This thing is such a run killer.

According to Zun's 1 Touhou per year schedule, Toehoe 13 is supposed to come out next comiket. So you still got a few months to go, I'm thinking TH 13 will still be released on time. I'm not going to complain about getting both TH13 AND STB2, and anybody who does needs their head examined >=p.

No way that's gonna happen.  He always releases a demo the Comiket before he releases the full game.  Plus, expecting both DS and a new full Touhou game in the same year is pretty unreasonable.

Yeah, I don't see a Touhou 13 this year. Or this Summer, rather. I suppose it's not completely out of the question that ZUN could release a Touhou 13 demo during Summer Comiket and the full version during the following Winter Comiket; then he can get back on track by releasing the Touhou 14 demo at Reitaisai 8 and the full version at C80 in the Summer of 2011.

Eh.. I'm not sure about that. The three fighting games were mostly developed by Twilight Frontier, and StB came out on the threshold of what turned out to be a year-long break where ZUN focused on music albums and his print works.

Same here. All I see in the arcades are Midnight Wangan 3 DX, Street Fighter 4 and moar light gun games. Good luck finding a non-Cave/Raiden game.

Are there Psyvariar clones out there for PC? Or is there already a port out there? Damn I want to play the game again.
