I find it amusing that these threads seem to be moving around the same speed of the accomplishment threads. Cave reigns supreme I suppose.

So I played some more Strikers 1999 today and decided to try out the X-36 finally. Holy bejeezus this thing is overpowered. All of a sudden I can see why most people consider this game easier than Gunbird 2. <_<

The absolute best thing about this game is the various 'roars' that appear if you just leave the game running after the credits or whatever it was. Some of them made me laugh so hard.

That's not how it works! See, what you do is change the way the game is displayed, so it was as if you were going to TATE it-- but don't physically turn the screen. Then tweak the directional settings:

Right = Up Key
Left = Down Key
Up = Right Key
Down = Left Key

This will make it so you can control the game as if it were a hori shmup!

As an alternative, you can play Progear in vert mode too
