>Youmu escorts you out of the palace. "Thank you for bringing me Hakurouken back," she says. He voice is tense, you can tell she's struggling to keep it even. "I was...terrified that someone unsavory would take it before I could amass enough valuables to reclaim it. That gem Yuyuko-sama gave you for it, I wouldn't think that you got the better of that exchange myself, but she does not shortchange people in her dealings. I suppose it has some value that I don't understand.

>With Youmu's words of gratitude, you depart the Netherworld, and return to Gensokyo. The chill here seems almost lukewarm compared to that of Hakugyokurou.
>You head west, passing between the pillars and through the narrow valley once more and returning to the road. Then you head a little further north.
>Soon, you come a familiar hill. You and Eirin have been here several times to collect lilies while they are in season. But now, it is all covered in a couple inches of snow. You see no sign of Medicine, but your eyes are drawn to a suspiciously person-sized lump amidst the snow near the top of the hill.

>You're in pretty good health. Thankfully, the lilies are not in bloom at all. So it just leaves Medicine herself.

>As you leave, you reflect that winter really seems to mellow her out a bit.
>You return to the road, and journey a bit further north, then turn west. The lannd here quickly becomes quite wild and overgrown; no one travels this way.
>Soon, you begin to see snow drops poking through the snow and blooming. These quickly become more and more dense, until the field you are crossing is practically full of them. You do your best to avoid stepping on them; normally you would just fly over them but you really do not want to give the wind any more chances to get up your skirt than it already has.
>After a few moments of looking around, you see Yuka in the distance, sitting on a rock surrounded by snow drops. She seems to be having a cup of tea and chatting with the flowers. It doesn't appear that she's noticed you yet.

>You ask her about UFOs. "What a curious thing to ask," she says, sipping her tea. "How very curious indeed." She looks to the flowers and asks, "Have you seen anything?"
>There is a moment of silence in the air.
>"I thought not," says Yuka to the flowers. "Well, it's not like you to pay attention to the sky." She looks back to you. "I may have seen something, though. But let's consider that later. How are you, Rise? It's been some time." She pats the the side of the rock she is sitting on.

>You have a seat next to Yuka. She smiles at you. "How have you been, Rise?" she asks again as she produces a thermos from her dress pocket. Quickly, she pours bright green tea into the lid, which serves as a crude cup and offers it to you. "I wasn't expecting any guests," she says, "So I didn't think to take an extra cup."
>Now that you are closer to Yuka, you notice she has a semi-circle shaped mark on her forehead. Did she have that last time? You can't remember.
