>"speaking of which, how goes the Prismriver's reuniting?"

>"Oh, they're very noisy," says Satori, smiling fondly. "They'll cause all sorts of ruckus, trying to come up with songs they can all be happy with. Merlin and Lunasa are making a bit of money now, and I've managed to convince them to tuck most of it away for future hard times. They're really quite silly sometimes. But I think they're mostly getting along again. And it's nice they can take up some of the chores from Orin and Okuu, those two can be quite the lazybones anyways."

>You says you goodbyes, and leave the Palace of the Earth Spirits.
>Returning to The Felt, you find it is mostly as you left it. Though you see Yuugi and Parsee making their way out, both stumbling a bit and Parsee leaning heavily upon Yuugi.

>Yuugi notices your waving, and makes her way over toward you.
>"And then I'm gonna-" you hear Parsee mutter.
>"Quiet, Parse," says Yuugi, "There's people listening, like Reisen over there."
>"Aw, let 'em listen," says Parsee, "they can can be jealous for once." Despite this, she falls quiet.
>"Yeah what?" asks Yuugi, looking at you again.

> "I was wondering if the head honcho is in yet."
>"Actually, yeah," says Yuugi. "Just got in a couple minutes ago. Said business closed up early. Just head toward the door at the back of the dance floor and knock. Four times, two high, two low."
>"And then I'm gonna-" Parsee mutters.
>"Pipe down, girl," Yuugi says, "I'm trying to do some zogging business here. Otherwise I'm turning you upside down." You don't think the little squeal Parsee gives in reply suggests she completely understood the threat. Yuugi glances back to you, "Look, I need to her home."

>You give Yuugi your assurance, and bid the pair farewell.
>You head inside The Felt, dodge your way through the crowds and the dance floor, and look for the door Yuugi mentioned. It takes a few moments to find it; just a simple white door flanked by a couple potted plants.

>Enter! I'm so interested to see who it is~

>You walk through the door, and enter an office.
>You are in a nice office. The lower portions of the walls are wood paneled, while the upper portions are covered with tasteful portraits. Quite a few potted plants sit around, giving the office a lovely splash of green. A desk sits near the rear of the room, covered with various oddities, most notable a vase full of flowers that seem to have a mirror-like reflectiveness. At the desk sits a person who could only be the boss.
>The boss...is dazzling. You cannot take your eyes away from that suit she wears. A golden brown jacket, with a seashell on the lapel. A matching bowler hat, sitting at a perfect angle. An elegant monocle rests on her right eye. The cut of that suit, the elegant material! At the same time relaxed and formal! It may be a blessing that she isn't standing, you don't know if you heart could take seeing the whole thing at once.
>It takes you longer than it should to notice the woman in the suit. She is fairly short, with a round face, blonde hair, and red eyes. You really can't make out much about her features due to the obviously fake mustache she is wearing, but you can't help but be impressed how well she wears it. She has an elegantly curved pipe in one hand, which she puts to her mouth as she regards you, sending up a small stream of bubbles from it.
>"Hi!" she says, after a moment of silence between the two of you.

>"That sounds keen!" says the boss, leaning forward "What are they? Can I have some?"

>"My ... Inner Beauty?"

>"Yep!" says the boss. "Look at this place, everyone's all dressed up and having fun. But who is it that that really stands out when you've got everyone looking their best? It's the people who look their best on the inside, too. The people who everybody wants to be friends with. And why not let that be you?"
>She nods and puffs another stream of bubbles from her pipe.

>It certainly seems that way. Perhaps the people underground never dealt with Rumia much?
>That is a very good question. You have no very good answers.
>"Don't be a meanie," says the boss sagely. "Listen to people when they talk to you. Be honest with yourself and others. Be reliable. You're pretty good at all that, aren't ya? So you're on you way! Oh, and don't eat people. They hate that, take it from me. And don't worry, everybody's got it."
