> "I'll do that, thank you.  Can you point me in her direction?"
> Make your way over to Yuugi.

>The Dealer jerks a thumb toward the east corner of the restaurant area.
>You head in that direction. You see a large, single-horned blonde oni at the corner booth. She wears a low-cut cocktail dress, which would look quite stunning if she didn't have her feet kicked up on the table, and her hair pulled up into a bun. She has her arm thrown around a smaller blonde youkai wearing a fedora, who is leaning against her heavily. Both have rather flushed faces. "So there she is," says the oni. "all covered in hops, and she looks at me and says 'Yuugs! What do I do now?!'" The youkai starts cackling, and the oni continues, "And I say to her, 'First thing is, you don't call me Yuugs or I'll beat you like a drum!" Then they both break out laughing.

>You remove your glasses, and invite yourself in on the conversation. You are able to sit down across from them. Neither of them seem particularly disturbed by your eyes. "Damn girl," says the youkai, slurring a little, "you got some peepers!"
>"Yeah, I'm Yuugi," says the oni, as she takes a sip of her martini. "You need something?"
>You explain your case. "What you need with the boss?" asks Yuugi. "I can get you in, but you gotta have a reason."
>You discretely dip a hand into your pocket and grab a spell card. Should worse come to worst, you'll be ready.

>The youkai, whom you presume is Parsee, begins to snore softly. Yuugi beams down at her.

>"No problem," says Yuugi. "Bring that doctor everyone says you're sweet on next time!"
>You replace your glasses and leave The Felt, retracing your steps back to the market. While Nue gave you different directions, you're pretty sure you can see it from there, so you just head east.
>You come to a large, imposing sort of manor that looks more like a fortress than any kind of home. The walls are made of stone and set with stained glass windows. Flat roofs give the the structure something of a boxy feel, and neatly hide any hints of architectural beauty. Moss covers the outer walls, add some much needed color and texture to an otherwise drab and dreary place. Snow stands upon the room as well, taking some of the edge away. The way to the door has been neatly shoveled. Obvious exits are West and North and South.

>She looks back into the Palace itself, and frowns. "This is why no one likes you guys, you know," she says to the unseen persons.

>You head inside.
>You are in a large, empty hall; easily large enough to hold hundreds of people. Two lines of columns create an implied corridor down the middle of the hall, with a red carpet set between them. The floor is made of carefully tessellated black and white tiles. Stained glass windows allow in the light from the city, casting multi-colored light everywhere. It is a little chilly for being indoors. Here and there, a few cats laze about, and you can see a sparrow perched on one of the doorframes. Obvious exits are North, South, East, and West

>"She should be up her in room," says Lyrica, "Don't think she's left all day. I was asking these lazy jerks," she gives a look at the gathered animals, "to tell her she's got company, but they're too busy being good for nothing. So I guess you get to invite yourself. Just take the hall up ahead, go up the stairs to the right, then down the hall. It's got a sign."
>One of the cats meows. You don't understand animals at all, but you're pretty sure that meant something akin to "Go fuck yourself."
>"Utsuho? She's asleep," says Lyrica. "Came home late last night from The Felt with a couple oni, they laughed it up for awhile before she conked out. And Orin, she's out somewhere. Probably prowling around somewhere."

>You follow Lyrica's directions, finding a small hallway opening a courtyard up ahead, and stairs to the left and right. You take the stairs to the right.
>You come to a long hallway. To the south side, on your right, you can see a few doors. To the left are a few windows that let you see into the courtyard below. One door in particularly catches your eyes, as it has a little wooden sign dangling from it that says "Satori's Room" in colorful mismatched letters, and bears child-like pictures of kittens and puppies. Obvious exits are SouthA, SouthB, SouthC, and West.
