> "Well, if I may excuse myself."
> Bid Remilia farewell.
> Head for the Underground.

>You excuse yourself from Remilia, and begin to follow Patchouli's directions to the underground. You follow the road to the Bamboo Forest, then head north from the sign, toward the house you tried to break into earlier. You go west a bit, and see a huge mushroom that happens to have some windows and a door in it. Heading north again, you find a incline that quickly leads to a small canyon, which quickly delves into the earth and becomes a gloomy cave. Thankfully, it is not too gloomy; it seems the people underground don't care for not being able to see. But with your dark glasses, it is a little rough.
>You are stand in a long section of wide, rough tunnel. There is a spiderweb along the wall and ceiling. It reads "Shop at Kourindou!" backwards; apparently it is directed toward people leaving the caverns. Obvious exits are North and South.

> Head deeper into the tunnel.
> Watch for falling buckets.

>You head deeper into the tunnel, keeping an eye for falling buckets. You've heard more than enough stories about people getting mugged here to be wary, even though you don't know much about the underground realm. The ceiling is very gloomy, given your Pair of Dark Glasses, and you are not able to see much.
>There is a definite downwards incline now, and more bits of web here and there. Somewhere up ahead, you think you can hear water. You also hear a voice shout "Say rock!"

>Investigate area around this bridge, on both sides.

>You investigate the bridge. It is in pretty good condition, and seems quite well made. You notice there is a small house under it; there are no lights in the windows. There doesn't seem to be any sign of people around, though you think you see some motion far off in the distance over the river; probably some faeries playing around.
