Reisen Quest Furthermore: A Z-Machine Adventure
« on: January 28, 2010, 03:19:35 AM »
>You are Reisen Udongein Inaba, Gensokyo's premier gunbunny!
>You an immigrant to Gensokyo from the moon. The events surrounding that have left you with a powerful hatred of Neil Armstrong, which you do not like to get into. You have been living at Eientei after running away from home. You work for Eirin Yagokoro, which has led to many rumors being spread about the abuses she heaps on you. Only a few of them are true! She has given you a variety of strange jobs over the years; you've done your best to handle them and think you did pretty well outside the moon incident. Kaguya Houraisan considers you her pet and you still don't know what she means by that; aside from the fact she uses it as an excuse to pat you on the head sometimes. You are deeply concerned about the rights and treatment of rabbits, particularly those in Eientei, and have managed to argue for them to have better treatment on a few occasions. You have crazy eyes and it freaks some people right out; thankfully you have gotten some tinted glasses to deal with this. You are a goddamn snappy dresser.
>You recovered your stockings from being hung out like flags! The Hakurei Shrine and Byakuren's Followers are at each other's throats over UFOs supposedly spying on the Hakurei Shrine. Hina lost her arm, but you've found it and have sent her to Alice in order to get it put back in place. A mysterious unnamed rabbit got Letty and Hina drunk last night! Patchouli asked you to secure Kanako and Suwako's blessings for her; Kanako has asked you to deal whatever is messing with the wind in the eastern reaches of the Forest of Magic in exchange for hers. Patchouli also asked you to check up on the Prismriver Sisters, who should be down in the Palace of the Earth Spirits. Marisa has asked you to hook up Alice with a suitable friend, or perhaps significant other. You have befriended the Yakumo family! You've vowed to prove to the world you aren't just good for your sex appeal, however ample it may be.
>You are currently visiting Mokou, to return her lost hair ribbon. You have not died yet! In fact, it's almost been pleasant.

>"We did, actually, not too long after that. Keine helped with that, too. It turned out one of her Students had it."
>"I had some spare time, So I thought I'd return the bow to you."

>"Heh, kids," says Mokou, sipping her tea. "So what's got you running around today, ways? I saw you've been through the bamboo a couple times already."

>She looks at the faerie ribbon. "Seems like they like you. Nice. Faeries don't tend to give gifts to just any schmuck. Always helps to be in good with 'em."

> "That other one, not Tewi."

>"Okay," says Mokou. "That other rabbit, she came back real late last night. And I guess she was drinking or something, because she was having a hell of a time finding her way. I almost thought I'd have to escort her myself, to be honest. But she found her way back after a couple bad turns. I suppose she was trying to sneak her way in without getting caught."

> "It sounds like, for once, Tewi is not responsible for the shenanigans I've been cleaning up."

>"Really? Just when you start to think you can't get surprised anymore..."

>Maybe we overreached to the Situation. Is it really that rare for an Eientei Rabbit to head out for a little fun? She did pay after all.
>Either way, Ask Mokou about everything she caught them doing.

>Really, it's more an issue that she snuck out. No one was authorized to leave yesterday. And you're kinda curious about what she was up to. Especially since Eirin forbids being drunk.
>"Well, I told you about all I saw with that other rabbit. As for Tewi, well, she's got eyes better than a whole flock of hawks. I can never sneak up on her, and she never does anything suspicious while she knows I'm around. I'm pretty sure she's got a secret way into Eientei, though.

>You return to the intersection. The eastward road you have followed dead ends into one going north and south. To the south, you can catch a glimpse of the lake, and to north you can see the beginning of that S-shaped bend where you found Letty. There are a few faeries overhead. Obvious exits are North, South, and West.
