ANyone get to Kamui, I'm at the part where you find the village and I'm not sure what to do next. I could go to Gamefaqs and look it up, but I want to generate some discussion about this wonderful game.
In other Okami-related news, the Officail OKami Cokmplete works book is available on Amazon.

Also, now do you mark spoilers on this sitez(forgot)?

Unfortunately, I don't recall how to get through the exact part you mentioned.

I really liked this game though. For me this was the one game that managed to really beat the crap out of the Zelda of the time. I probably spent more time playing Okami than I did Zelda Wind Waker or Twilight Princess.

Oh great, now I have this tune stuck in my head again:

I'll come up with an evil scheme later. First, it's time to build a giant robot!

You can't have a good evil scheme without a giant robot!

Hmmm....let me think. My memory's also a bit blurry about that part. Have you found the village elder yet? He's at the highest house of the village. I thought he redirected you to the big lake beyond the village after that, where you meet a prophet who tells you about the situation in Kamui.

And the game itself is probably the funnest and most memorable game I've ever played. I enjoyed it way more than any o the Zelda's, and that says alot. The gameplay, style, story and humor are just unrivaled. Fave game of all time, right next to Paper Mario & the Thousand Year Door (my second favorite game of all time).

I love this game to bits, and I can't wait for the DS sequel!

Hmm...I haven't found the elder yet, unless he's that Oki guy with the sword. Issun seems to be reluctant to search the place(i hate it when he does that, especially seince you have no choice), with his nvm that, we have important things to do attitude.

The Elder is a normal old man with a long beard, big bald head, walking stick, skinny composure and a beer belly. Hard to miss, but I think he was gone for a while though... Instead you have that blue robed right hand man of the Elder who you frequently meet. He should be standing infront of the elders house.

Curse you, crummy memory!

Try going outside the village. If I remember correctly, a girl stops you and talks to you. Then you go to the elder.

if you draw a circle around people in Kamui they turn into wolves.
Drawing a circle around normal people makes them walk up to Ammy and pet her.

Hello again, right now I'm in the Wawku Temple, the first orin mirror to be exact. Turned out there was a left pathway I didn't notice before. If I want the sword in Issun's village, will I need to go to Yoshpet again?

I don't mind this becoming a playthrough topic, but I would like more general discussion about Okami. What's your favorite brush technique, how many times did it take for you to get the bloom dance right? Did you the Ps2 version or the Wii version?

Also,
if you draw a circle around people in Kamui they turn into wolves.
Drawing a circle around normal people makes them walk up to Ammy and pet her.

That's interesting. I'll try it next weekend, when I have time. Also, how do you mark spoilers? I think someone told me, but I think it was on the previous site and I forgot.

On subject, it sucks you can't use Shiranui's enhanced brush skills at all - I would have loved to see a few holy nukes drop on the Devil Gate bosses.
Let's Play: BIT.TRIP FLUX | Let's Play: Malicious | Skyward Sword: Shieldless Final Boss | Skyward Sword: Boss Rush! | Ace Combat Infinity: Campaign in the X-02 Wyvern

Hello again, I just beat
Spoiler:
Nechku and Lechku [/spoilers)] .
Where did they get the idea for them? I mean Victorian Mechanical Owls that go ZA WARUDO on you. Only complaint is the difficulty.

If only the Wawku Shrine Dungeon was as awesome as they were. I wish I knew you could knock the balls back at the cannons. Would have made my life so much easier. Now I'm going to go get the rest the stray beads.

In other news, my Okami artbook came in. I'm going to wait till I beat the game to completely look at it.
Also, now that I'm trying to add spoiler tags, I can't get it to end it keeps going past the second html.
