Suwako - Character win, both in terms of cuteness and in terms of epicness.

Nazrin - What a tiny, tiny, clever commander.  Plus I like the role reversal.
Koishi - The subconscious rules over the mind.  Plus she's just that awesome.

Shinki - The original.  For everything.
Shikieiki - Enma.  Auto win.

Ahem... Only going to do the ones in the first post for now because I wanna sleep soon, but here goes...

Reimu vs Marisa - Marisa.  I personally think Marisa makes the better protaganist.  Why?  Because she actually has to work for her powers, rather than having them handed to her on a silver platter.  And she works hard.  Reimu, on the other hand, is notoriously lazy.  So yeah, the Gunbuster fanboy in me has to say that HARD WORK AND GUTS triumphs here.

Kaguya vs Mokou - Kaguya.  Inaba has shown to me that Kaguya is pretty quirky, funny and somewhat ditzy.  IN, on the other hand, shows us how she can be when she's serious, and I'm a pretty big fan of characters that can be completely different people when they get serious.  Also her danmaku is very, very pretty~

Tewi vs Reisen - Reisen.  Sex appeal.  Ahem.  Moving on...

Ran vs Chen - Hmmm... Difficult, but... I'm going with Ran.  I don't know why, but I just prefer her.

Remilia vs Flandre - Flandre.  But then again, this shouldn't come as a surprise to a lot of people, as my loathing for the elder Scarlet sister is pretty well known.  Ahem.

Kanako vs Suwako - Suwako.  I do like Kanako, but...
