Well if anyone has adonis we'll use the room for both SWR and PoFV now ^_^ Nemo and I played a few rounds of PoFV and it works great. There was hardly ANY lag whatsoever. there was a little bit but it was very stable throughout the games we played ^_^ so enjoy all the games mates! As usual i'll be hanging on hamachi myself if i'm on my computer so i'll be available most of the time for a game. hehe

Well, For people playing PoFV and use quick characters such like Cirno or Aya, this is my advice:

Pick up a slower character. This is important.

A 2nd room should work just fine. We have hamachi set up for osu! people and have two separate rooms for it and it works just fine. I dunno how the other program works though.

ah sweet alright then
well adonis works exactly like SWR's in game connector. someone can host, connect to the host, or watch.
really simple stuff (IP and port) then when it connects it starts the game up for you.

New PoFV room made! check the first post to get the information on it

Well you use the IP from Hamachi and you open a port(we prefer port 10800 or 07500 but mostly the first one) and adonis will open the game up itself and we'll be at the difficulty screen. its that simple ^_^

there are a few kinks that'll hinder us like
1: For Vista users the adonis readme says.

I'm running vista and every time adonis connected for me and nemo it crashed. pfft THAT was why and that fixed it

2: Not being able to select anything.

When i played with Heresy he couldn't select a character. pfft THAT was why and that fixed that too.

3: Just make sure your firewalls aren't blocking hamachi/adonis/th09e.exe and all hahaha (and make sure your updated your game as well)

Just be sure those 3 are out the way and if you got hamachi and connect to the room everything is smooooooooth sailing

There is slight delay depending on who you play with, its unavoidable but thanks to adonis much MUCH more bareable

I was a bit rusty too. I played PoFV last time 3 months ago... I often got a hit very early by a random bullet. Good thing that it wasnt a sudden-death match.

I'm still not sure how I survived your Komachi coin spam, mostly luck I guess. That stuff was really nasty

yeah i really can't stand komachi's coin spam.

i'm glad kojiro doesn't post replays of me. the way i flew straight into his sakuya's cross-screen knife throws were humiliating. i'm blind to them.

i still can't decide between focusing on marisa or youmu. i really like youmu's 1 charge attacks, but her charging time is too long, and her focus area is >: |. marisa however is too damn fast in pofv

lol why do i have to practice when YOUR the one who hasn't played in half a year? I did just fine man. I won nearly all my matches. haha I'm confident in my abilities as they are. maybe your watching the wrong screen or something haha. but i'm doin just fine.

To everyone:

anyway if your a member of one room then you don't HAVE to join the other one if you want. As ong as your in hamachi period you can link with anyone to play any game. But unless your looking for someone in the other room and to let others know you're willing to play is another thing. They can't see you if your in one room and not in the other. Especially the players who are in only one room.
Just letting everyone know so that the same people don't take up all the space in the second room since the max is 16 per room

And yeah i'm not gonna post any replays if you guys aren't confident in your abilities yet or anything. That's no good. Besides i dont' know how to post vids on Youtube anyway haha. I do fine if i'm in fullscreen. Otherwise it gets hard to see the snowballs (tiny bullets) and dodge haha. So if i'm playhing a game with anyone and you wanna talk about hte match right after the game don't hesitate to leave the game and send a message about it. I don't mind at all.

Right, I'd totally join, but it seems adonis does not like WINE very much. Plus PoFV keeps freezing on me when it loads Stage 2. I've got some tinkering to do.

yeah rooms where full by the time you wanted to join. The SWR room was full for a long time now though haha. cool that you made new rooms. I'll be sure to add them to the list of current rooms now. sorry bout that though haha
they were bound to be full a little after i started the threads afterall. but then i started making more rooms. it was originally just a SWR room but since the english patch of PoFV i made 2 rooms for both.

I thought of that too...but i dunno if everyone has IRC. I didn't have it until a little while ago myself. I'm still pretty new at the thing so if someone makes a room on there I'll post it up on this thread's first post and people can migrate there if they so choose.

Sorry if there aren't many games there though. Not everyone wants to play all the time ya know? Cyclone is normally on but not really there hehe. Nemo has really bad connections where she is at the moment. I miss bein able to play with her lately to be honest. I'd imagine that a lot of people have hamachi start up automatically when they turn on their computers ya know? But not really wanting to play at the moment. I mean if i get on hamachi then i'm willing to play so that's a little helpful if anyone wants it. so just ask others and don't be shy about it. just leave a message and see if they reply back interested in a game or not. Not much else can be done there i suppose.

Well, getting an IRC client is pretty easy. I use Hydra IRC, although there are probably better clients out there.

But I definitely would second having some sort of meeting room.
