Game over at Remilia's last nonspell again.... after dying with three bombs in stock to the non-directional lasers yet again, and dying with three bombs in stock as well to ZA WARUDO of all things - I'm pretty sure I had a perfect record on it. At least one other lossy death elsewhere, Bury in Lake I think. Also the second time in a row I die to the end-of-stage-4 fairies. What the hell.

That makes it three times in two days in which I entered stage 4 with 6 spare lives and still failed, not to mention the about half a dozen ragequits at Cirno. This is not supposed to be this hard.

I died against an almost stationary bullet that I somehow failed to notice while moving to collect the 1up from midboss Sakuya on hard.

...and in the time it took me to respawn, the 1up had fallen off the bottom of the screen >.<

Failing a No-bombs run of HRtP because I accidentally activated a bomb on stage 17 while I was trying to shoot the orb.
I would have failed it anyway on Sariel, I always screw up on her second phase. I know what to do, but I always get distracted by something and end up forgetting to look out for Sariel's bombs.

T98-Next is awesome though. No noticeable lag, and it doesn't look like crap when playing windowed.
Something else that makes me happy, is that Stage 16 Makai, where I would usually fail my runs before, is at least 100 times easier when playing without any lag.

Holy crap! I almost had a perfect Byakuren fight! Died once on "Devils Recition" because I still don't have this card down yet.
I guess I'm on the road to recovery!  :V

I've been saying Kaguya was the hardest final boss since I got my IN 1cc. :V I don't think Remi is really all that hard outside of Meister and Gensokyo and the occasional Vampire Illusion wall.

1) I bombed a total of three times, never mind FRANTICALLY MASHING THE BUTTON
2) I saw what hit me once
3) I game overed on Greatest Treasure

still reached byakuren but died on LFO thanks to not caring enough

games should give a solid amount of extends, not depending on your route or whatever the fuck it means

Change Shot Types from UFO!ReimuA and see if you have the same impression!
That said, I held down Ctrl too early and "lost" the Life Fragment from Stage 1. At least it's still as trivial as ever.

I've done both of them on Hard with 3 mistakes/bombs overall.

For Lunatic though(I don't have Kaguya's stage for practice yet, haven't 1cc'd)

First round Shikieiki.

I started playing PoFV last week and would say Shikieki period.  While I'm not a good player I could still manage to make it to her with no deaths with a few of the characters and not use any continues with some of the others.  Danmaku Judgement led to many fffffffffffffff moments as I was walled in.  Spells always eventually made things worse as it meant more projectiles to deal with and the spell gauge wasn't building fast enough to continue clearing the walls of death.  I had the hardest time as Youmu because her spells charge so slowly...I'd either have to potentially waste a spell (close call but not certain doom) or not be able to charge it in enough time.

Going from normal to Extra is a rather rough transition, especially from the fact that the snowballs are one hell of a lot faster and numerous.  I decided to take a break and work through an old JRPG in my backlog to quell the rage :V


I find Kaguya to be much easier than Eirin.  Marisa is harder than either of them.  I rarely capture Astronomical Entombing unless I'm playing as the Netherworld team.

Tried some MoF Lunatic Stage 4 practice since I didn't feel like trying a full run at the moment.

I kept clipping stuff. What the hell do you mean I can't capture the preAya spam now. Why am I now consistently failing Saruta Cross? I still fail all her other cards.

Y'know, sometimes I just wish I didn't know these games even existed. All of them. Every "accomplishment" feels less satisfying than the one before, and takes twice as long, and it's all very unfulfilling since any "successful" run is just "bomb everything that's hard and don't derp on the easy parts" anyway.

Lunatic Yumemi is still harder than Sikieiki. Seeing as how she's nearly impossible to actually beat.

Tip to self: Don't try to scorerun when you can't even consistently 1cc the game. It'll just result in you game overing on midboss Yugi or worse Yamame with ReimuA. That 4,000+ graze in stage 1 means nothing if I don't even survive long enough when I can just have my score be even better by not trying to scorerun. I was at a little over 7,000 when I game overed.

Oddly enough, the game ragequit for me at that point and crashed. >_>

I can't play today worth crap.

I keep dying on MoF Stage 1. If I don't die there I die on stage 2. I kept derping everything on SA as well meaning I only made it to Peta Flare with ReimuA. Messed up even more with ReimuB and game overed on terrifying Hypnotism.
