HRtP's weird learning curve :
HRtP Easy is BY FAR the hardest easy of the series. No freaking way you can 1cc that on your first try. Once you memorize the bosses and manage to control the orb so it doesn't kill you every 5 seconds it's not too bad.
HRtP Normal is HRtP Easy, except you have to dodge 2 to 10 bullets per 5 seconds in some stage. And the bosses are harder, somewhat.
HRtP Hard is HRtP Normal, with slightly harder bosses, but the strategies from Normal mostly work anyway.
So basically, if you can 1cc Easy, you can 1cc Hard.
Now, Lunatic. It's HRtP Hard, with a crapload of bullets appearring when you turn cards. All aimed at you. To chain the cards, you have to follow the orb around to kick it back up. So you're moving around. And the bullets are aimed. So they miss. Which means you can (almost) do the EXACT SAME THING you did on Normal in most stages.
This was supposed to be some kind of rant about how some players who can 1cc the Touhou shooters on Lunatic manage to find this game hard (streaming, 20 extra lives, nearly static stages).
Now if I could just remember how I installed HyperCam, so I can put it on a computer that doesn't suck, and prove I can still play without random slowdown.
