I keep fucking getting hit in stages 1 and 2 of IN. I've only made it to Mystia once today just to get hit on her first fucking spellcard.

Edit: Oh, and I almost lost my perfect record on Shackles a Criminal Can't Remove Lunatic when I died while the nonspell was clearing and almost didn't get things right in time, but it's still perfect. Unlike my Hard one which I ruined today.

And damn it, I still can't get past stage 2. What the fuck? I haven't gotten past stage 2 once after failing on Hourai Jewel because I keep getting hit. My closest was Mystia's last nonspell.

Died to Broken Amulet
Died to Optical Camouflage
Died to Monster Cucumber
Clipdeathed twice in stage 4

I didn't even get the second score extend either since without bombing your scoring sucks even more No Vert. Surprised I didn't die on one of the things I would have expected to under those conditions.

Four times already I lost 1-2 to lunatic Shiki with Reimu. Getting her to her last half orb isn't that hard anymore; getting her to her last half orb and forcing her to deathbomb isn't exactly rare either.

But I really, really wish Lily would stop giving her all the yellow 'G's.

^This, except change the having 1cc'd IN Lunatic to could but keep screwing up early stages. And UFO Lunatic to UFO Hard.

I've continue spammed my way through EoSD Lunatic, PCB Hard, most of MoF Lunatic though I have stage 6 unlocked due to the replay thing, and SA Lunatic. But I just haven't gotten past stage 4 of UFO Hard(I could, but then Stage 5 would prevent me from clearing, and if not that, Byakuren. Just like SA Normal, I didn't have Stage 6 Normal on UFO Unlocked until after I 1cc'd. SA Hard and Lunatic, I managed it before having the skill to 1cc Hard(or after the Hard 1cc for Lunatic). I probably couldn't continue my way through PCB Lunatic though.

Edit: Damn it. I was just under a second away from capturing Momizi then I died. Then like usual I failed Storm Day, Peerless Wind God, and her final card.

lololololololool my performance in UFO does not vary between Hard and Lunatic mode, nor does it vary between shot-types. I will invariably fail on the same spots no matter what, and have recently noticed that I almost always leave stages 1-4 with the same amount of lives as I have the run before, regardless of what I do in them.

I may actually have to use stage practice... But I'll hold off for now. Not quite raging that hard.

I have had what would have been Lunatic 1ccs get fucked over by that. It pisses me off every time it happens because it's pretty much a death sentence.

That or the whole dying 3 times on Stage 7 or Stage 8(or twice on both).

The farthest I got in any touhou game was PCB stage 6. And I got owned by Yuyu.

BTW I only play normal... easy is too easy and hard is too hard :V

PCB Easy is harder than some of the Normals.

Almost win stage 6 first try but die. Almost win stage 7 the first try then die. Almost win 2 more times on stage 7 then die 2 times. Game over on Komachi.

Once I manage to 1cc this damn thing on Lunatic without them, I'm going to cheap through it with Aya and Medicine(and still probably get BS'd a few times)

How Elis has like 3 completely undodgeable attacks in HRtP.

- The lasers + giant wall of bullets combo;
- That thing where she slowly moves to a corner, shooting a shower of bullets down. If you get walled, you're fucked;
- When she starts aiming at you with very fast bullet waves.

I think I should stand under her more often.

Also, the freaking lag. Unlike UFO, where I know when it'll activate, in HRtP it's completely random. Sure, it makes it slightly easier to dodge bullets, but it also completely screws up my timing, and sometimes the game doesn't even register my input. And the music gets all distorted.

What really pisses me off though, is that I can't even get passed stage 16 anymore.

So there's a 1.1 English patch for PoFV which fixes Lunasa

So I pick Lunasa and lose 6 rounds in a row to Reimu after getting her down to half an orb and no gauge

edit: goddamnit I'm really awful at PCB

edit#2: tried Flanchan.zip again, needed two continues - got destroyed by the stage (gah), didn't remember a single noncard and proceeded to clip/deathbomb a lot of them (duh), and was obliterated by In the Eye of Destruction (well at least that one was expected). And never figured out how to use the C4, it says "press 'C' for things to go BOOM" but I got nothing.

Made a little progress on IN again. I've now made it back to the spellcard after Mystia's final nonspell before getting hit and ruining the attempt. Then every other attempt today ended with me getting hit by Wriggle's midboss card or getting hit by Mystia's "midboss" card.

Hopefully I don't fuck up stage 3 or the later stages once I get by stage 2 without getting hit again.
