In no particular order:

1: I have to agree with EoSD metal fatigue bullets, took me some time before I learned to fly THRU the effing big bullets, and not around the medium ones on Remilia's opener, as well as that demon lord spellcard (whatever it's called)

2: EoSD knives. I swear the hitboxes for these things changes, it doesn't represent the circle hitbox you actually see in the PCB knife bullets IMO

3: Kanako's rice-whatever spellcard bullets, They're like metal fatigue bullets. Just thinking about going near one will kill you, seems more forgiving on hard than normal, haven't tried lunatic yet.

4: I like to call them "cucumber lasers" Because the first card where these really sucked for me was on Nitori's cucumber whatever its called spellcard. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to see these approaching me at ALL after I dodge an initial wave. It's like they camouflage each other or something. Another example are Yuugi's lasers
Hit the big ones, really.

There's really only one bullet I want to add:
AAAAAAH YIN-YANG ORBS

PoFV reimu scares the shit out of me.

I think Reimu is a lot worst in IN thanks to her little "lol I'm unhitable" phase flying thing. I much rather fight Marisa.

But in IN you can avoid yin-yangs in phantom mode and the amulets have there normal tiny hitbox.

Isn't everything in the game supposed to?

I'll go with any bullet that uses additive blend. The bullets in Byakuren's Air Scroll are a good example.

If these were regular bullets of their kind, I wouldn't mind the spell at all. Through this stupid glowy rendering, they become a pain to read when they overlap. If it weren't for this, Legendary Flying Object would be almost as awesome as VoWG...

This. I was starting to feel like I was the only one. I find these simply unreadable when they overlap because they lose their borders completely; a cluster of these bullets just turns into an indistinguishable white mass. When the bullet pattern is tight, I find that this makes it very easy to lose track of the bullets around you.

Oh, and curvy lasers suck too.

Curvy lasers aren't bad. But a laser assault from 3 directions combined with luckshit isn't.

No mention yet of EoSD flames? I still have no idea where the hell their hitbox is supposed to be.

Oh god, I forgot about those. I think one of the few advantages Marisa B has over the others is that other than Remi's loleasy streaming attack, she never has to deal with those miserable bullets.

Baity: For a moment, I thought you broke 1.1billion. Upon looking at my score.dat, I can assume that you destroyed the score that is my failed (first!) 1cc attempt on my first day of playing. Congratulations.

My worst bullets are the UFOs.

I'm serious. Trying to grab one of those on Easy alone lost me a couple of lives, and I'm yet to 1CC Normal.

Oh look, I got an image in my signature. Finally.

Thirded, Kogasa EX's first card = soooooooo many clipdeaths.

Those tiny ninja-star whatever bullets are a pain as well. Examples: MoF, Stage 2 final card and LIKE ALL OF STAGE 4.

Just a top-3? I could write a book about this.
Okay maybe not.

Animated Bullets - As in RTG - These are all over the place in UFO and i don't like them. I think that reading their hit-box is more difficult than their low-def counterparts (eg. Lily White unload.) and i prefer to have the challenge isolated to just reading the pattern. If that makes any sense - i know not many Touhou-bullets are like that but Animated Bullets are really stupid even though they look pretty.

Lasers - Lasers in all kinds. I hate lasers no matter who uses them. Except Flandre - her lasers aren't a problem.

EoSD bubbles and Metal Fatigue bullets - Their hit-boxes are larger than in later Touhou games which really causes confusion.

---------

Last, i would like to mention that the PC-98 games have some crappy bullets as well. Most dominant would be arrowheads. They are better in PC gaming but there were some in MS as well. Alice used them in her final attack and they really stunk imo. Also, bullets doing Devil Recitation MS version.

Sakuya/Mokou/Kaguya/etc.'s knives tend to give me a lot more trouble than they should be, due to their hitboxes being disjointed. The big oval bullets also tend to get me a lot, too.

Unzan's fist also gets me a lot more than any of Ichirin's lasers and normal bullets for some reason, too. =X

3) Rice Porridge bullets, fucking fake hitboxes that I often fail to.
2) Metal Fatique bullets, and curved lasers from Shou.
1) Kogasa's last card on extra, those lasers.. argh.

The bullets I have the most trouble with are the stars, both big and small.  Hate them so much.  :(

I hate only one type of bullet and that is the Glowing bullets. Especially when they are spawned in masses.

Stars, pellets, ovals or knives I have no trouble with.

Do the default butterfly bullets in Danmakufu count? They have a nice circle indicator for the hitbox... too bad it's about 5 pixels too small, so clipdeaths everywhere. Good thing most people don't use them.
As for official bullets, I'll go with the medium bullets in EoSD. The hitbox is the exact same as the sprite, which messes me up, because it's smaller in the later games...

Do those count as bullets? Those are familiars that explode into small bullets. And Phoenix which? :V
