No.  If I read it now, the hype will give me unreasonably high expectations of the quality of the novel, and as such I will be disappointed with it, no matter how good it is.  Better to wait until the hype has died down so I won't be let down, is it not~?

Besides, I still have F/SN, Tsukihime and Higurashi to read through, so yeah.  And I think there were a few other VNs that were higher up on my backlog that Umineko...
