i got a reimu plush off ebay and then later i found the site that sells all the plushies and noticed there where resales and under resales they say , resales are made with different materials and such , so i was looking up image and google search try find whats the difference between first sale and resale plush but i could not figure out whats the difference , so how do i tell if the one i got is normal or resale ?, like whats different , can u tell by tag? i cant read tag > > ,, thanks for any help given , sorry if this question is in the wrong area

also another thing wondering , if i buy from gift online shop plush for 2940yen(+tax) and its goin to california in total how much $$ might it cost about ? the thing with the tax and it being jp got me tad confused > >

Hmm, I don't know if the tag will say, but if you can post an image of the tag (scan it or photo shoot) I may be able to help (if its in Japanese).

Also, concidering the gift thing 2940 Yen with current exchange rate and taxes will be roughly $32.86 U.S.D.
From there on it matters on how you plan to get it sent and how heavy the items will be.
Can you tell the specifics of the shipment/online shop?
In some cases it might be cheaper to get it sent over by another company. (Say for example Tenso which allows you to get the item sent to a warehouse in Japan and ships that to outer seas, I found this to be better than some services that amazon.jp provide depending on how much I buy)
...Although all my past experiences with such companies have been with heavy books and not with something as light as a plushy...

i wanted to get remilia plush , i was looking at http://giftshop.jz.shopserve.jp/

one the thing i was just wondering about the price was that it has tax and i havent bought stuff from japan before so i wasent sure if the tax would be like 8% or something else :/ ,,

the one thing i was woundering with the original vs resale was the site says resales have different material so i was looking at images of plushies but most looked same besides some plush looked like different material but all pics of that plush had the same difference , is strange :/ , only thing i can think is that my plush has real soft fabric for the hair and some pics the plush looks like it has a rougher less quality fabric ,, its like this pic of a reimu the pic shows the soft thick fabric http://bit.ly/akNARA and on this remilia it looks different to me http://bit.ly/bAwpUA , so it is different or im just a crazy person what is highly possible ,, just sorta trying figure out differences so i know if i should just go to a site and buy a resale remilia and pay like 35$ or if i should go try and find a original version and pay like 65$ i prefer higher quality model but if the difference is vary minor i could deal

He gets lots of fan-mail, so you can mail him. I think Letty sent him a letter once, I don't remember if it was in English, or if he had it translated. But he got no response as far as I know.

Mail and email they get lots of so the chances of yours getting through is close to nil.
(Especially if its about how one loves him or if its hate mail)
If you know as much that he's going to show up on Reitaisai or Comicket, why not go there in person and give him the letter in person with a can of beer or something?

Aside from encouraging people to look back some pages to see if their question has already been answered, and check a couple pages back in the forum? Nothing really. You're always going to get people that missed a discussion or weren't here at the time, or something.

It's the kind of question that's been asked before, and will likely get asked again. The only solution would be some kind of Touhou FAQ thread, but I'm really not willing to expend the effort. People here are always polite enough to answer questions that have been asked before. Even Drake, who is apparently ZUN's press agent.

Haha, not really. I've only sent ZUN one email before, and that was in regards to music (which received no reply anyways). I'm only wondering because in all honesty sending him fanmail is reeeeally just a hassle because somebody has to translate. If it ends up being something he gets every day then I don't really see why the effort is needed to go to a new forum, ask them how to contact him, then either send him broken japanese or make him translate/throw away an english e-mail. Not trying to be mean, I'm just curious why they would bother asking.

Watching the anime To Aru Majutsu no Index.' This episode is called 'Accelerator One-Way Road,' which is awfully like fan-made Mitori's theme, 'The Kappa Way as Said ～ One'-way Accelerator.'
Was this intentional, or just a cool coincidence?

Rather than a reference to the episode, it's a reference to Accelerator. Accelerator and Mitori's abilities are somewhat similar, so yeah most likely.

About Mokou and Kaguya's immortality... I've read that they also have regeneration abilities. So if you, for example, cut off their arms, will they regrow a new arm or what? How does their immortality work when it comes to getting blown/torn/shredded/chopped into pieces?

Judging purely by the look in the game, either the pieces attract each other until the body is pulled together again or they simply 'splode into existence anew.

Apparently even if you disintegrate them to the last piece of hair, they'd regenerate from the hair. Even if you destroy everything material there is to destroy about them, they'd regenerate from where their souls are.
So... even if you sever a few limbs, a neck, a head or any kind of what ever, they'd regrow it like a salamander's tail.
...Or so I'm guessing.

I think the question is, if you merely cut off an arm, what happens to the arm? (My guess is it either floats over to rejoin their body or disintegrates somehow. It'd be less gruesome than having a bunch of severed arms lounging around ...)

I believe it is when a bullet passes you, but the bullet was just a few pixels closer than you expected, and you die from "clipping" the edge of the bullet's hitbox

Does anybody know how to contact White Canvas? they have some stuff I want that's not in stock anywhere else, but the email address they give for international orders returns an error. It seems they gave .com instead of .jp but sending it to that address; I still have no reply.
