While the Touhou look-alike is very well made, I'm still bothered by the fact that we can't find anything about the "real" version. Though perhaps with time, DixQ will release something on his page.

Um, I feel kinda stupid asking this...but how do I put these on my PSP? I have the USB and stuff, I've put things on it before, but I've never put a game on, so I'm not quite sure what to do...

you need to hack your psp with custom firmwares...And Doomsday93, have you tried running the game with eLoader?

Does anyone have any news when PCB will be released? I played that other one for the PSP that was posted here, but it was horrible.
The PSP is capable of much much, at least imo. The music was randomly thrown in (ie. boss themes were used for stages; some boss themes were used with wrong bosses). And the collision detection, what the fuck? It seems like the whole SPRITE is the hitbox, which is stupid. I wish they would improve it. Touhou imitation my ass.

Yeah I admit it is pretty disappointing, still since the thread is dead we might never know if a psp port exists or will be made...pretty sad actually -_-"

Hmm.. surely it'd make more sense to try and get touhou running on a portable pc, you know like one of those Xda's running windows CE or something. would those run PCB or EoSD?

(though i do picture the controls being a problem, lol)

I found some other games for psp while searching japanese boards with google translate...haven't tested yet but here:
http://psplua.xxxxxxxx.jp/DATA/thPSP004.zip
http://pspprogramfan.up.seesaa.net/image/toho20080713.zip

And also I found a super smash bros. for psp at the same time:

EDIT: You might need eLoader for loading homebrew on a psp slim

I just started another thread for a psp port of IN since I found some guy on the internet publishing the source code that would like as much as us playing a psp port of a touhou game. Since IN have a huge replay value, I think it would be fun to finally see a complete port of touhou.

You could get the source code for Mohoufu from http://code.google.com/p/kene-touhou-mohofu/ and modify it. With enough work you could imitate the real engine and port the game ripping everything from the original.
