The Snake Lasers become actually really difficult, and her penultimate is... well... even harder... Okay, that was to be expectet, but christ...
Most. Distracting. Background. Evar. Without it, the attack would still be mean, but it would become cappable. As is, I practically have to bomb every time I blink because my eyes cannot focus back on the bullets fast enough with all the coloured dots flying by...

I will NEVER understand how people find backgrounds distracting. Just focus on the bullets, and even the most flashy background will be just that: A backdrop. Now my acid trip background on the other hand...

Anyways, I think I just discovered an extremely obvious yet easily missed way to make the first half of SA stage 5 even easier. I also discovered that you actually have a high chance of survival if you charge through the spirits on Ghost Wheels. I don't know if I was just getting insanely lucky or what, but I did it nearly 10 times before losing all my lives doing it. If anything, this says that if you mess up and have a wheel right on top of you, you have a better chance of survival charging through it than trying to get out of the way.

Fun stuff. Got to Byakuren with 6 lives and 3 bombs, lost first life on her 4th nonspell, wanted to bomb Devil's Recitation but decided it would be fucking cool to capture it(and I did), then Air Scroll.....I've died at the final wave just before she would die. Never failed it there. Had a bomb left. Yeah :V
Then I've completely screwed up LFO, died 2 times with 2 bombs.
Notable crap: NO DEATH ICHIRIN. However, I've died 2 times at the stage.
Captured Murasa's survival. Always screwed it up on the real attempt.

I didn't hate it, I've just had a really, really shitty stage 2 bomb route.
Once I've figured one out, I've reached Byakuren with 5 more lives than usual....

PC98 on the other hand....tried MS Lunatic what does it even have, and damn....I'm not doing this :V

? You need to bomb on stage 2? More than once? There's only one hard part of the whole stage even on lunatic.

And MS lunatic is great fun, the only hard part is that it gives you only 7 lives to work with (8 if you are good at collecting point items without a PoC). Even then it's balanced out by the fact that the first 3 stages are pretty easy.

Perhaps that's your problem. I don't think I bombed for UFOs on stage 2 during my lunatic 1cc, I even screwed up a red UFO and got it destroyed before I got two fragments (thrice since this happened on stage 1 and 3) and still had max lives by Murasa.

Yeah but you had a MASSIVE chain going in post-Nue stage 4. Not exactly trivial to pull off, so it kinda evens out. You were in a good position either way and could've probably 1cc'ed it even without that mass chaining seeing as you ended with lives to spare but stage 4 can make or break any run.

1. Did MoF stage 5 no bombs one death. Moses' Miracle cost me a perfect stage run (ANOTHER one god dammit when will I finally do it? :<)

2. Did MoF stage 6 no bombs one death. o_O This was a completely random run, so...

Just getting through Kanako's opener was a jolt for me, I was definitely not expecting to get all the way to VoWG without a single bomb or death. Truth be told I was disappointed by my death, but at the same time I knew not to get my hopes up.

I normally have cold hands and when playing most console games I can hand my controller to a friend and have them say it feels like a ghost was playing or conversly take a controller from someone else and it always feels so warm.  But when I was fighting Remilia my hands were sweaty, shaky messes. Glee!

I just found out through experimentation that Yumeko's knives (Lunatic only?) move faster than Reimu unfocused. Judging by the relative speeds, I don't think they're as fast as Mima. Might be just a little slower than Marisa too I might add. That being said, I've worked out a nice consistent method of dealing with the streams as Reimu.

I should upload one MS Lunatic 1cc using Yuka entitled "Speed isn't everything"; and alongside it one with Mima entitled "Speed is everything"  :V

Post midboss MS Stage 5 was probably the inspiration for post midboss EoSD Stage 5, except MS is harder there. =V

I hadn't realized how much I depend on the homing amulets in this game. Every stage portion got significantly harder and the water fall spam went from "damn I can't do this" to "what is this I don't even". Had to try several times to get past stage 1.
Actually, coming to think of it, it took less tries for me to clear stage 6 than to clear stage 1 or 2. Figures...

MoF Stage 1 is complete bullshit.

Not to mention MoF Reimu-A is has the best homing of all Touhou games. The game changes completely once you use another character.
