VoWG Lunatic history for ReimuA: 01/01. Seems that somewhere during my 'let's do stupid things with VoWG' phase I've become able to consistently capture this when I'm not playing like an insane person. :V

Of course I was playing unfocused! However, my shift button occasionally managed to turn itself on and off at opportune moments. Very odd. :3

UFO extra cleared :V I'm glad I got this over with way quicker than EoSD, so many close attempts and stupid mistakes, but finally had a good run making it to her last card with 3 lives. Finished with 1 life and 2 bombs, that spel is indeed way harder than it looks.

I have to say, while SA's patterns generally fill me with rage, that makes it all the more elating when I beat them. BoWaP captures in particular are euphoric.

Also, y'all worship GODrake for moving through the wheels of Ghost Wheels? I did it NON-TAS. :O :O :O

Anyway, just beat SA extra with Reimu B. Her pathetic damage making her useless next to Reimu A aside, she's probably the second easiest to use because she has a small hitbox and doesn't require any odd gimmick. I think my punishment for using Reimu A is that her dialogue is really boring.

Even Yukari is unusually dull in this game.

MoF extra down! All I needed was to timeout that last spell instead of trying to shoot it down. The last 5 seconds of that, dodging at 0.00 power, was the most intense thing ever- I could literally feel my heart pounding~

Anyway, thanks to Ruro, I finally got my hands on the PCB demo. It sadly wasn't the earliest version where Alice was completely different, but still...just looking at this picture should give you an idea of how it was different. There were no supernatural borders, lives were given out based on points, and the stages were...quite different. It was almost like an arrange mode. The spell cards all had subtle differences as well, and Alice had a third non-spell that she just plain didn't have in the final version (no it didn't even look like her second one that ends after one attack).

If anyone can find me the earliest version, I would be very thankful.

UFO 1cc! Yay! Easy up until Murasa where I died twice on her survival and once on the vortex spell. Stage 5 was fine until Shou where I didn't bomb and died multiple stupid deaths... Byakuren was easy until Flying Fantastica. I probably could have capped Star Maelstrom, but since I was low on resources, I didn't want to risk a stupid death :X

I just found out how to do Yumeko with a success rate of... 85%.

Um, wow, this needs more testing. Looks like Stage 5 won't be a Pipe Dream anymore :V

Keep in mind that if I want to use this "secret technique" to absurdly increase my chance of survival, I need to be in position during the 3rd stream attack. And that's not good. There is no safespot by the way :V

Score better? In MS? Simple; PoC as much as possible for Stage(s) 1 (and / or 2); following that you perfect the rest of the game. Keep in mind that bombing with one of the characters (Yuka) DESTROYS the Dream Gauge.

All characters have 3 bombs. Bombing during a boss reduces the damage they take. But, I guess so; since the spread is a blessing, much like Reimu's Homing. Longest bomb duration too.

I normally have cold hands and when playing most console games I can hand my controller to a friend and have them say it feels like a ghost was playing or conversly take a controller from someone else and it always feels so warm. But when I was fighting Remilia my hands were sweaty, shaky messes. Glee!

Tried out PCB Hard again for the first time in a month or two. Beat it with 4 extra lives, and thats if I don't count the extra starting lives, AWESOME <3

The thing? I'm pretty sure this demo is up for download on ZUN's official Touhou site. The real gem is the version before this, which as I have heard is very rare and after other people searching has eluded capture. It has the fabled "lost spell cards" that are on the wiki.
