IN Hard 1cc!

Now off to SA and UFO.

Actually, I think I'll do all the Extra Stages, as I have never even touched one, and SA and UFO Hard make me want to cry since I can't do reasonably well in either.

Funny how I always thought IN was much harder than EoSD and PCB. But after I beat those two, suddenly IN feels the easiest one, after MoF

IN was my first and only Hard 1cc. I've 1cc'd both FinalA and FinalB on it.

Though I had gotten pretty close on MoF before that and gotten close on EoSD after that. Also gotten close enough on LLS Hard that I would 1cc it if I didn't find ways to die with bombs during the stage 6 portion or during a stage before that.

Resurrection Butterfly 50% capture o/

It actually didn't seem that hard. Perfect Cherry Blossom: Deep Sleep seems much more difficult.

I rarely capture Magic Butterfly unless I'm at full power. There's a wave of it I have no idea how to dodge and unless I'm at full power I die to it every time.

That wave you're referring to is done by misdirecting the laser away from the center, and moving into the bottom-center.

I've done it once before; nothing too special. Had to learn quite a few more spots, but it definitely can be done.

Also, I tried to capture "LFO" unfocused. That was fun. Almost had it until the red rings made it almost impossible to move around unfocused with that much precision (note that my tactic in dealing with the waves is to move through the rings as quickly as you can, as opposed to waiting them out).

I've captured it 3 times in a row out of nowhere...
Of course, on my 1cc I've died on it 2 times and bombed 2 times and both of the deaths were with 2 bombs :V

I just perfected the Story of Eastern Wind's extra stage, the "TAKE IT EASY!" one.
This is the fanmade remake of SoEW BTW.

This wasn't hard at all.
I guess this is proof that SoEW's extra stage would probably be one of the easiest extra stages in the series if it wasn't for the extremely crappy design.

Oh and EX-Cirno is the greatest boss ever. :V

Actually, the mess up one of the more annoying attacks, near the end. The bomb lines are supposed to be aimed at you (so you should learn2misdirect) but the fan remake just made them automatically misdirected, making it easier.

Also, the shot types seem to be pretty superior to what they were based on. Reimu always has homing, Sanae has hax shotgun damage and more effective spread then the original SoEW ReimuA, and Yuyuko is just haxed out (The game even gives Yuyuko a ton of extra bombs)'

Perfecting it is still a great job though.

You forgot Suika, who's shot is extremely powerful and can auto-collect at will. :V
Yeah, I noticed a lot of strange things that were different in this version.
Take it easy tank yukurri's first phase is completely aimed at you here, while in the original the shots were random. You can just stream everything and don't worry about anything here.
And adding a POC BREAKS the life system. You can gain like 10 extends in the point item portion of the stage alone.

I just had a very good PCB Hard run going. Until i reached Yuyuko who pretty much wrecked it. I think i captured three of her cards but i lost the first one as well as Youmu's one. Those being deaths because i was by no means ready to bomb them, easy as they are.

Maybe i should have a word with Neo, being her "opposite-of-waifu" he should be able to teach her some manners. I don't like girls who mess up my run so badly!!! I got around 830M. I wanted the billion.

It's because it turns really random if you die at it. I don't really like that at all. It becomes a total mess. Like "Mountain of Faith" - Easy on steroids... and unlike MoF, the waves come from below you too... nasty.

About said spellcard, i went for a UFO Hard run just to see if my initial 1cc was just a fluke. I managed to finish with three additional lives which compared to my initial run with 4 remaining lives isn't so bad. I even captured LFO in it which is nice. As well as Vajra and Demon of Clarification (or whatever Shou wanna call it.)

So I was so annoyed that I 1cc'd IN Hard yesterday but didn't save a replay that I had to do it again, and this time with a much better score, and I didnt die up to stage 4, and still managed to finish the game with 0 lives lol at least I faced every last spell.

1cc'd LLS Hard earlier, but that really isn't an accomplishment.

I did make it to Marisa my first try on Lunatic though and nearly defeated her, this being on 1 credit of course. Doesn't seem too bad for a Lunatic either, but I need to practice more, plus I used homing Reimu to make the stages easier.

Finished 0/0. No highlights whatsoever besides a rageworthy death during the clearing of Ichirin's final spell. No other Touhou game on hard gave me nearly this much trouble.

I didn't even know there was an Easy mode in LLS, so I went ahead and cleared Normal. I had to use continues, but it felt good to clear it after doing Easy on the others.
