I just beat IaMP normal with only one death using Yukari (GOD FUCK SHIT DAMN BITCH YOUMU STOP INFINITYING ME ON DOUBLE PAIN). I know she's supposed to be hard to use, but for some reason I'm determined to learn how to use her even a little bit.

Got a random stage 2 no deaths in UFO hard. Also captured Parasol Memories whatever and train for the first time. ReimuA :V

Hell's Tokamak is easy just for 1 reason.....it can't wall you, period. If you die, it's because you screwed up, not because you forgot to stream it or the bullets didn't allow you to.

That doesn't really change much for me. I find myself dying to Hells Tokamak more often than i get a wall at Peta Flare.

So I started a game of PoDD to 1cc Normal.

I did not realize, however, that it was set to LUNATIC.  AAAAAAGH

But I made it to stage 7, and knocked Rikako down to half a heart!  Woooo!

After finally getting around finishing off MS Normal 1ccs with Reimu, I went and tried out Hard Mode with Marisa. Seeing as all my normal runs were terrible and often 0 lives left, I figured I'd suck.

Well, I have to say it was the first time I've genuinely had fun playing MS, and cleared 3/2 on my first try. WAAAAY better then I ever did on Normal. Yay~

Heh, thanks. I'm pretty sure you could beat PoFV Extra, though... it's somewhat tough but it's I think less than ten minutes long total, so it's not a big deal to keep retrying until you get a good run through, and there's no learning involved like with the other Extras. IMO, it's easier than a Normal 1cc.

Holy damn. You really don't like your final bosses, do you? It's usually the opposite for me... lose most of my lives by Stage 5 and do really well Stage 6, scraping a clear by the skin of my teeth (with the exception of IN <_<). Anywho, congrats.

Here's an Apollo 13 capture where I dodge the pattern in the bottom center instead of the standard tactic which is go to to the sides and do it there.  Oh, and I used the large-hitbox Ghost Team, even though that doesn't really make a difference in this game.

I actually did it three times; the first took about 30 attempts, the second about 30 more (with pretty much all of the failures being clipdeaths, usually to the second or third wave), and the third took 2 tries.  I was thinking of trying to time it out, but I was getting tired of it so I stopped.  I might do it later though.  I just uploaded this because I was hoping it would show people that this pattern is in fact not luck-based.

If you think Apollo 13 is luck based, then just do this. (I haven't tried it on Lunatic, but from the looks of it it should work there too. And it's not specific to the small-hitbox characters either.)

Yes, I DO have a problem with last bosses...

I get too anxious or something.. I can only ever finish games if I perfect them and then reach the last boss with as many lives as I can. Except EoSD because Remilia is a joke.

Anyway it was a funny accomplishment that I 1cc'd a game on normal and almost 1cc'd the same game on hard on the same day =P

I managed to cap Most Valuable Vajra on Easy.  I so haet that card, so capping it, on any difficulty, is an accomplishment.

Tangentially related, despite failing harder than I usually do on UFO (including deaths on Absolute Justice, An Unarguable Youkai Punch, and just barely failing Flying Fantastica), I manage a 1cc, if just barely.

Well I have only played her up to Hard, and I have beaten her no deaths... Compared to other bosses on Hard, she's the easiest imo :V

Color =/= entertainment. Tell that to the fans of Mushihimesama. :V Gameplay-wise Remilia is one of the most intense because no matter how good you are it's possible you're going to get walled.

Really, IN is the only game I can play the higher difficulties of and it's clear to me Kaguya is indeed more difficult than Eirin on stuff above Normal and Easy. I think she's just equal to or easier to Eirin on those modes because you can't continue against her and if you're playing on an easier difficulty that's a fairly notable disadvantage...

In other news I've gotten the hang of the EX stage of IN better. I can now reach Mokou with reasonable resources (which I am garunteed to lose since I can't handle EX bosses yet... >.<).

Close enough, since most still agree that Remilia (and Yuyuko, for that matter) are more difficult than Kaguya. =V

I had to bombspam Kaguya using Neitherworld team to beat her and 1CC the game. Using Marisa B I could capture 2 of Remilia's cards when I 1CC'd the game. Yuyuko doesn't count since I used Marisa B and got free double damage to make her noncards less a pain.

My HRtP lunatic 1cc is finally uploaded, but...as you can see, there are some problems. :V I have no idea why the video recorded a bunch of blank space (along with the FPS WTF I thought I turned that off) or why encoding saw fit to squish the video (the original recording was normal, though it had that black space), so I hope I can figure this out. In the mean time though, behold proof that HRtP doesn't need skill to beat.

Sorry for the double post, but I FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY perfected Sanae. I didn't perfect the stage along with her, but that makes 3 stage 5 bosses perfected on lunatic (and I don't exactly think I'm going to be perfecting Sakuya, Orin, or Syou any time soon...). Before that, I also beat stage 4 no deaths due to pulling off at least five death bombs successfully.

Hm. Let's see... You can avert this easily using VirtualDub. After importing the video in go into the Video Tab at the top, and go Filters. Select Add, and add... say a Brightness / Contrast Filter. Leave it at Normal and 100% B/C. Now select the Filter and click on Cropping... Edit the video dimensions as required. If you're unsure of where to cut it, just click OK and check the Output dimensions.
