Lunatic's difficulty really comes down to whether or not Remi decides to shit in your face with a solid wall of shit (I'm quite the elegant speaker).

Also random movement. Had runs where the timer was down to 30 before she died.

There's also something called probability in statistics. If we were to deem both captures as flukes (say, statistically significant figures), then to get 2 in such a small sample size is so uncommon that it would hint that they may not be flukes at all. This is all up to interpretation though.

I was actually quite lucky. It was New Years and I didn't really have an idea on what I was doing becuase I drank a bit.

I haven't been able to capture the card since.

Hi. I suck at EoSD Extra. Its an extra stage so i completely forgot what i was doing at Cranberry Trap and got killed because of it. Also lost life to Philosophers Stone. And here is the real deal: I, somehow, managed to get my self killed by Laevatain... she rammed me with the laser she did. 

Game overed at QED before the thing even got hard. I'm not even raging. I'm laughing like a lunatic! *no pun intended*. I used to dominate EoSD EX when i was taking baby steps into Hard mode... ahh good times, good times.

Annoying crap i know. But i once lost a No-death run to her final spell. :blush: Capturing everything up to that point exept for Red Frog. Now that sucks.

After many failed 1CC attempts on MS I return to my first Touhou, EoSD, to take a break. I died to one of the fairies at the very beginning of stage 1 because I couldn't adjust to Marisa's changes...

Just failed to continuespam my way through hard mode Byakuren ten times in a row. Gah. The attempted 1cc itself ended in stage 6 after going very, very well until Murasa's survival... which I clipped inexplicably with two seconds remaining in a can't-get-any-safer-than-this situation, leading to a slippery slope of RAGE and HORRIBLE FAILURES which included getting IMPALED by the very first laser from Nazrin's nonspell with three bombs in stock.

I just played IN Hard at my skill level of a full year ago.

I should have saved the replay.  I cannot believe how bad that was.  I game overed at Boss Marisa's first noncard.  Which I died to twice.  I also died twice to The Legend of Gensokyo.

Huh.  I always thought that Marisa's first appearance in IN 4B was during a cutscene and that touching her wouldn't cause instant death due to cutscene immunity.

So, I tried PCB for my first time today, thinking the skills I learned from 1ccing EOSD will be more than enough to get me through.

"Alright, this has been pretty easy so far. Now I just have to fight Youmu! Heh, this fight isn't too hard, 1ccing this later on is going to be ea- What just killed me!? Took me... quite a while to realize that, what with the bullets disappearing before I could get a glance off of them. Then 30% Resurrection Butterfly utterly owned me like 5 times. 1ccing this isn't going to be as quick as I originally believed.

How about this one? This morning i managed to lose all but one life against Youmu on PCB Lunatic. I died 6 times on her final card because i tried to time it out.

At least i got a near-perfect Alice battle beforehand to cheer me up a bit.

How can you even see what bullets are coming at you? All the additive blend makes them utterly unreadable if you don't take out the clone as fast as possible. For me, at least...

Meh, it's not too hard to read.
Just take a picture of Nue when she has just fired a ring of bullets and bolt it to the other side of the screen and you should have enough time to dodge everything up there.
