I have WAY more trouble with VoWG Hard than MoF Easy.

But that will probably change when I get used to VoWG, as I don't think there's any trick to MoF Easy, it's just too random and slow and annoying.

With all those people complaining about SA, and Donut mentioning spending an hour and a half trying to perfect Stage 1 Lunatic, I decided to go try that out.

WOAH the beginning is a lot faster... ooh the boulder shoots danmaku when it explodes, nifty. Kisumu's spellcard is now really fun, and... oh it killed me once >:

Tried UFO for the first time. Almost gameovered on Byakuren. On Easy.

What am I getting myself into?

I'm putting this out there right now, anyone who complains about Yamame's opener isn't doing it right. Get out of its way altogether. Not that hard.

I decided to take a crack at UFO Hard with MarisaA, since all my attempts with SanaeB end up with UFO-chaining failure.

One bomb on Nazrin Pendulum, not a big deal. Accidental death on Stage 2, didn't mess up my chain, so I made it up. 0D1B Kogasa fight (captured everything except her second card). I was feeling pretty good about the run so far.

I then proceeded to have the most terrible Stage 3 run ever and game over'd at Ichirin's second card (it was four seconds away from being an accidental timeout because lolmarisaA range anyway) because my fingers have not yet realized that I'm playing Hard Mode, and that the stuff I can dodge on Normal without bombing cannot be done here.

PCB Hard, I have Stage 1 down to an average of 0D0B or 1D0B, pending on various little outside things. Stage 2 is a royal nightmare though, causing anywhere from 3 Deaths and Lotsa Bombings to "Challenge Again?". Stage 3 send me to the continue screen if Stage 2 did not, and even if Stage 2 sent me to the continue screen, Stage 3 sends me anyway. Stage 4 consumes all of my remaining continues. Weird-name-De-something from Prism(river) Black anyone? :V

Does this belong in here, or the ARGH-really-long-name-that-seems-to-be-involving-shouting thread? :V Cause I borderline rage at my failures, I refuse to play in front of ANYONE due to me sucking so much, and I laugh my head off like a nutcase... all due to Stage 3 and Stage 4. :V

Finally got my first fail of Shackles. Died as Yuugi's opener cleared, trapped myself inside a shackle when I respawned, destroyed said shackle to escape (ideally, I would have only opened it and not destroyed it, but I'm not exactly thinking straight), bubble wall expands from the center of the screen and pushes me out to the edge, pellet wall advances, *dead.

I was playing PCB today. On Stage 2, I somehow completely forgot the purpose of a border, and immediately after gaining one, flew into a load of bullets trying to reflect them a la Giga Wing.

Maybe I shouldn't play shmups while somewhat sleep deprived. :V

Fact: if it wasn't for freakin' Cirno shotgun, I'd already have 1cc'ed EoSD lunatic long, long ago. But it's hard to keep your spirits up when you get ⑨'ed in about three out of every four runs.

Every time I practice stage 5 of UFO easy, Shou has never killed me _{she's so nice to me~<3}
BUT! I tried easy mode with MarisaB...and I got all the way to stage 5 with 6 lives and 7 bombs.
Mid-boss Nazrin shows up and takes 3 of those lives along with 2 bombs. Then Shou comes...and for some odd reason...she hates me. I died against her with 4 bombs in stock

What's wrong with me?
