I also have no idea how the hell to capture Nitori/Satori's Nitori's spellcard with the shiny blue bullets curving up and down. Seriously what.
Water Sign: Kappa's Poroca?

For Nitori's version its actually pretty easy as long as you can predict and keep your cool. And I'm not trying to be silly either, if you start to stress on it the difficulty skyrockets. Aside from that just watch the angle at which they come down and try to position yourself into the gaps (and don't be afraid to move upward if you spy a gap in the 'wave', because it gives you some breathing room before the next wave comes).

Satori's version? You got me there. Somehow my strategy doesn't help when she's using it..

I guess this thread counts.

So, I finally 1CC'd EoSD on normal.  So now I am trying PCB.

I play PCB on normal, Sakuya B (The one that holds the knife pattern when you focus) and manage to get to Yuyuko's 2nd to last spell card or whatnot.

I figured I could use some practice so I played on Easy... I got to stage 5 with no bombs or lives left...

How on earth could I do so much worse on easy?

EoSD Hard attempt. Everything was going just fine; I had 4 spare lives when I entered Stage 5. I can so do this.

Then came 2 deaths on Sakuya's midboss NON-CARD and another on Misdirection. Jump forward a few minutes and here I am, repeatedly saying "BOMB" to the tune of Sakuya's song.

That's it. I'm not going to attempt a 1CC until I have Stage 5 DOWN.

Note to self: ALL (except for delay-streams and the ridiculously easy Final Phase) of Yumeko's bullets at Max Rank are faster than Reimu unfocused.

Two consecutive ND2B runs so far  :|

So Evil Eye Sigma is still absurdly stupid.  What's worst about it, though, is that I HAVE to have full power at the part with the green blobs to have ANY chance at all.  Otherwise, that part kills me at least once and guarantees that I reach EES with at best three lives and yellow power.

Edit:

6 deaths
2 bombs
Perfect until random death before Alice, and then it went downhill from there.

You can delete the score.dat file in the game's directory, but it'll force your game into a completely fresh start, requiring you to re-unlock any practice stages and extra stages you had unlocked (this is applicable to all Windows Touhou games).
Whether you're on Easy or you're a Lunatic, be damn proud of your accomplishments.  Don't let anyone convince you otherwise, for it's when you lose faith in your own achievements that those victories become defeats.

By the way, is it better to just bomb to 0 power?

WHAT THE FFFFFF

I die to the stupidest things on all of my runs save for the one that I 1cc it.  >.<
I lost 4 lives on Stage 5 before I even got to Sakuya, then I lost one on her midboss nonspell by accident...

And where did my other lives go?
One lost on Cirno's second nonspell because I ran into one of the SLOW bullets, one lost on something of Meiling's that was just stupid, one lost during Stage 3, and one lost on Lava Cromlech.

The kicker?  I captured everything else save for Lava Cromlech and Sylphae Horn High Level.  God damn it >.<

Edit: Jesus now I just lost all my lives to Jack the Ludo Bile.  WTF

On "Fixed Star" you can sit in the middle of the rings of suns and just dodge the bullets no-vert.

Hell's Tokamak is easier to deal with if you move to a side; bullets spread out more, and you won't be so close to the suns.

I forgot until now why IN stage 3 is one of my least favorite stages in the series. Just plain annoying danmaku all around. I believe Keine, along with Alice (PCB version) and the Magic Stones are the only stage 3 bosses in the series I haven't perfected (yes Baity I even managed Elly once, on max rank to boot).

Fixed for my own usage.

I decided to just use a remapper and map my arrow keys to I-J-K-L and it's going pretty well aside from the times my character decides to fly to the side for no reason :V
I've been playing EoSD more often now, mostly Stage 4...I can do the stage near-perfectly (just need a bomb or two for Patchy) on Hard now, and I can do fairly well on Stage 4 Lunatic as well. c:

But seriously fuck Nazrin.

So, I was going into Stage 6 of my PCB Easy SakuyaB run with seven lives. Had a flawless stage 4 run, and did pretty good on stage 5, too. Felt pretty confident about my chances, which is good because I absolutely detest SakuyaB.

Then I died to Flowery Soul "Ghost Butterfly".

Three times.

Then I had a stupid death on Subtle Melody "Repository of Hirokawa -False Soul-", followed by a death on Cherry Blossom Sign "Perfect Cherry Blossom of Sumizome -Seal- when I know I hit the bomb button before that bullet hit me, and promptly got torn apart by "Resurrection Butterfly -10% Reflowering-" because of the goddamned red butterflies.

Since I never use continues, I figured that I'd switch over to ReimuB and do a practice run of stage 6, since ReimuB's shot type is similar to the shot type I usually have SakuyaB locked into when I'm focusing.

And that was how I discovered that my ReimuB clear has stopped existing for no apparent reason.

Actually I'd say Yumeko is a lot harder than Sakuya. Probably canonically more powerful to boot since she's a "top class demon."

Actually I'd say Yumeko is a lot harder than Sakuya.
Was my post really worded that bad?

I'm saying she's harder than Sakuya, not the other way around (unless you count PoFV, because I use Reisen there and have to face her in stage 6 because of it, which means she's at her worst...). Yumeko was taking away most of my resources so I wouldn't have enough to kill Shinki.

The 'you are inferior to Sakuya' comment was at the fact I don't like Yumeko as much as Sakuya (though that probably doesn't say much since Sakuya isn't exactly a top favorite of mine, either...).

Sakuya the silent assassin is more awesome than Yumeko the mind slave.
Plus while I like Doll of Misery, SWR Flowering Night is better.

Somewhat curious after hearing so many people complain about PoFV, I decided to try it on Normal.
I lost.  Using Reisen.

...what?

Also, Ichirin is worse than Nazrin and Kogasa.  Put together.
