Don't reset if you die on st3 or 4 in a stupid way. It only causes more rage which overall reduces your 1cc chances.
On my SA Hard 1cc, I've died on st3 and bombed a lot of spellcards and still got through, even though BoWaP killed me 2 times.

Same for UFO. 2 deaths on st3, bombed 2 times st2 and died on Kogasa, but still reached Byakuren with 6 lives.

I've 1cc'd MoF lunatic after dying 3 times in stage 2. The point is, never give up a run unless you really can't take it.

What I find more RAGE-inducing than losing your last life there is NOT losing your last life there.
You get hit immediately after you get up, and die the same way all over again.

Looks like I'll be attempting a ND1/2B run in the future.

Oh, and I can see HUGE differences between MS Post-Mid and EoSD Post-Mid. One has a crapload more random bullets and evil, fast 3-way (Lunatic) bursts. Which are ironically only a nuisance during the stage.

The game didn't let me save replay afterwards.
And I couldn't capture it again.

The worst part is that I know that everything before her is fairly possible on Normal, but I'll likely screw up over and over again before I stop being stupid on Stages 1-5.

I HATE Meiling's opener as well.. I die to those red circles all the damn time! Or at least that's always the first bomb in my game :/

Only marginally related, but I really wish people would stop telling me what shot types/characters to play as. I don't care if shot type X takes 3 times longer to kill the boss than shot type Y, if I want to use type X, I'm using shot type X.

I tried MoF Lunatic for the first time in months.  After the traditional OHLOLFALLINGLEAVESOFMADNESS restarts, I die my first death with a power in stock on stage 3; so far, so good.

Die again with THREE POWER on the last two fairies before Nitori.
No deaths on Nitori.
Amazing performance on Stage 4; no deaths, get to Aya with 4 lives.
Get to Stage 5 3 lives, no power, 147 million points.  Best run ever.
Die immediately; fine, I had no power.
Die with three power to random fairies.
Die with three power to random fairies AGAIN.
Die with three power on Secretly Inherited Art of Danmaku.
Perfect the rest of the stage.
I'm now 1 life, full power.
Die with three power on Moses' Miracle.
Game over with three power on Takeminakata Invocation.

StB. 6-7. Dear god WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!!! This is ridiculous when the boss REPEATEDLY tried to ram you at high speeds in all different directions and HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH THIS?!!!!

Mima's charge attack is easy, she gives you warning so you can move, you know the exact angle she's gonna do it (straight down...} then she leaves behind some danmaku that's really easy to dodge. But this, there's no warning, and you have this cat bouncing off the walls and trying to bounce off you as well x.x

Chen rams you every other attack. It is confusing because while the WILL CHEN RAM YOU? pattern is a simple Y/N/Y/N/Y/N, her movement pattern inbetween parking for a bit each time is 1 jump/2 jumps/1 jump/2 jumps which can throw you off since she'll alternate between aiming after stopping and aiming after bouncing.

Stick near the center and she'll always do the exact same moves, making it a lot easier to deal with.

Yumeko at Base Rank is easy.

Yumeko at Max Rank is not.

The difference? The streams move faster, the knives move faster, and the opener can be comparable (if not more ridiculous) to Kanako's opener. When you have trouble outrunning bullets unfocused, you know things are near-impossible.

All I can tell you is watch a replay or youtube video of someone doing it properly.. It's pure memorization... She doesn't ram you everytime, so after you learn how to do it, she does the same thing everytime and it becomes easy

You know, Most Valuable Vajra can actually be taken out with a single bomb with little difficulty. Whether by Reimu A or Sanae B. Personally, I always just bomb it :V

Okay, seriously, is it just me, or is Satori's Nitori set more difficult than the actual Nitori set?

In MoF I can reliably capture, quite literally, everything the kappa throws at me. Satori's version of her set, however, is full of clipdeath and raeg.
