You know what? I used to live in a small village in one of those monsoon howl zones, I woke up one day and I found myself drenched as I step off the bed, because the house is submerged, and for some reason I safely remain asleep all day. I lived with my auntie then so when my parents found out they wanted to come get me, but then all the roads are closed and we staved off salvaged canned peaches until Sunday, and it was a Friday when it flooded so we are on the roof. Good thing however, the water supply was accessible from the upper attic, which had the heater in it, we were able to sneak in, shower but wore the same shirt and pants for well over 3 days, wet.
Needless to say I came down with pneumonia, and the next thing was us getting our life back after the massive flood, we moved out said village. I wonder how did auntie lived there for 17 years...
imagine that, rebuilding your house every year for the alst 17 years. Good thing them furniture are stainless steel.
