And honestly... there needs too be a "gender orientation" because even within specific sexual orientations you can have wildly different people.

Well it's human nature to make labels.  We are systematic beings who think of things in terms of comparisons and contrasts to other things.  It's just how we process and think and act.

We group similar things together because if we find something new we can readily identify it by examining similar things to it.

Oh, I know the concept. You don't take a million psych classes without learning about that at least one or twice. But just because I know and acknowledge the concept doesn't mean I can't hate it for resulting in situations like this, ne? :3

I'm pansexual because I have the potential to love everybody :D So if you want to know if it would work, just get to know me better. Hah. <3

Orientation? I like women much, much more than men, but with the murkiness of TG and all, it's hard to say I'm 100% straight. I don't find "manly men" attractive at all, but I do find "manly women" attractive... And while I'm not attracted to "girly men" either, I'm cool with traps (because of a change of appearance?).

The why's can be speculated about in so many ways, that I just stopped caring since it doesn't bother me. Also, it leads to the trap of "Wait, I like this, so I must secretly like this but are in denial!" sort of reasoning.

i think the most feminine thing about me is that i've very rarely made any guy friends. the majority of my close friends are girls.

but that might not entirely be my fault, because guys in my school are dumbasses that i'd rather not communicate with.

I think if you enjoy both sets of plumbling, then you're bi. It doesn't really matter how "masculine" or "feminine" they appear.

The only problem with this definition is, again, it's horribly unspecific. Saying you're bi might make the wrong implication that you like both girly girls, and manly men, and you might not want to make that impression.

If you like both penis and vagina, you are bisexual. It doesn't matter if that penis is attached to Chuck Norris or Carson from QEFTSG, nor does it matter if that vagina is inside Natalie Portman or Rosie O'Donnell. Sexual orientation is, as TSO said, a matter of one set of parts or another - not the personality of the person they're attached to.

EDIT: Having said that, I wouldn't be too worried about what "implication" people pick up from saying that you're bi. I don't see a lot of straight men worried that other people are going to think they only like girls girls, or only butch girls, or whatever. :yukkuri:

Here lemme put it this way.  There's people you'd love to bone but may have absolutely no interest in having a relationship with, and there's people you may have deep friendships with but not really interested in sex.

Romantic relationships don't have to be sexual at all.  Nor do sexual relationships have to be very deep.  So strictly speaking sexual orientation is literally who you'd sleep with.  Personality, etc, the stuff that matters in a romantic relationship, really have nothing to do with sex.

I was taunted at school for being feminine at school for the most stupidest reasons, like playing Uno with a group of girls during recess in elementary. o_o;

This happened to me a lot too. I'm not athletic and I don't enjoy roughhousing, so playing with boys at recess in grade school was never fun for me. Girls were always, always more fun to be around, so as logic would have it, I was around girls more often.

I keep thinking, you can't really be bi if you like only totally feminine boys dressed as girls etc.
That is because of the image, you are (technically) pansexual by that nature to a certain degree, maybe gay, but certainly not bi, because the image of boy is subjected to a girl-ified state, hence your focus is the feminine presence on the boy.

I may be thinking too much.

(that said, I did for a while try to seduce a guy once... it wasn't very successful since I... definitely did not match the criteria)

I think if you enjoy both sets of plumbling, then you're bi. It doesn't really matter how "masculine" or "feminine" they appear.

Does that mean I'm bi then?

You are whatever you are, the labellings doesn't matter. :P But strictly speaking, if you have the capacity to be sexually attractive to both XY chromosomed or XX chromosomed people, then yes you are technically bi.

Of course, gay/straight/bi can never really accurately describe anyone who could be attracted to someone intersexed or hermaphrodite, and people still argue whether a man loving a MtF or female loving a FtM would be considered gay, straight, or bi.

I'm sorry if I keep repeating myself, I feel like I've been ^^;

If you think about it, a male in love with an MtF could only be considered as straight (or bi, if he does in fact have a thing for males, but I digress). After all, isn't society's view of gender mostly revolved around outward appearance anyway? Therefore, if someone looks like a girl and acts like a girl, they must be a girl, right? Does the fact that they are biologically male with XY chromosomes really make that much of a difference at that point?

Eh, just thinking out loud. :V
