There were at least a couple DOS Mega Man games. I've seen raocow play them and they're hilariously abysmal. One came out when the PC was still a pretty bad place to be for any game with real time action. The other one was just hopelessly outdated, no redeeming points.

I haven't heard about any of this, but just from what I perceive the reception of TASBot to be, the things that actually get people's eyes and hearts are the straight-up regular TAS stuff. The crazy tech demo exhibitions are pretty much exactly like tech demos in that it's a shitton of work but there aren't many people that actually appreciate what's happening, and some even find it confusing or boring because it's so arcane, which I would totally see being discouraging.

TBH it's pretty optimized at this point and will either be a glitchfest or lots of buffed Sellsword Twinblade slapfights. The patches have done their damage to some old faves and everything else is well settled in. The run will probably include the second DLC which does have some good fights but in the end it might just be more of the same.
I'm actually interested in Bloodborne but I remember heyZeusHeresToast being too much of an asshat to actually enjoy. I still haven't played the game since a thousand hours in the Dark Souls games still isn't enough to make me run out and buy a PS4.
