Is knowing her location enough to hit her with Halt, or do we need to see her actual body?

You need to see her. A situation like this is definitely borderline and unpredictable, though.

One more question. What does Halt do if the target is laid out on the ground? Will they be pinned, or just their feet?

Alright, well let's see what happens.

> Throw the Wall just past the tree, at where Eileen's feet should be; we want to pin her to the tree, or at worst knock her over.
> Run up and be ready to jump on her in the latter case!

>You toss the wall, and lands roughly in front of Eileen. She gives something of a squawk, and moves toward your right as the wall comes up!

>Your mana reserves are just fine for the moment; you have a fair amount of spells in you.
>You cast Halt on Eileen. She stumbles, and you can feel her working to resist it. In the process she stumbles and flails, her toss is ruined and the vial shatters by her feet with a little yellow puff, her spell interrupted. She stumbles and you close some distance easily before she's able to regain her footing and run.

Huh, really? We have a lot more MP than I expected.

It means "continue chasing her". The goal is to catch her and wrestle her to the ground.

> WHY DID WE SKIP GYM CLASS
> No guts, no glory. Dive for it and get her by the ankles if we have to.

>What the heck kind of gym class allowed for tackles!?
>You dive! You smack right into her! You both go tumbling to the ground with cries and squawks and a burst of soreness as you land poorly and smack several parts if your body; burying your face in her back.
>A SHORT WAYS AWAY.
>Archer bleeds, and does her best to ignore it. Her leg cries out in protest, and she firmly tells it to be quiet and get to work. Explorer is some yards away, taking aim, forcing her to move, but that's just fine. She does, the bullet whizzing just under her shoulder. At the same time, she fires! He is already moving; having learned long ago that she takes every chance she can to counterattack. Nor can he stand still long enough to use that odd magic without paying for it. It has been a stalemate, but that is fine, so long as Lily can make the difference, she could stay here all day.
>Still...
>"So you actually reached the moon, huh?" she says as she readies another arrow, moving to circle around him. Without that cloud looming at her side, it was easy to move freely. Not as gracefully as she would like, but well enough to keep from getting shot again thus far.  "Was it really made of cheese?"
>"So you guessed it," says he says, taking aim again. "I suppose that's my fault. But, Miss Archer, you aren't ready to learn about what I saw there. No one is. You have to understand, we're not ready, and we've only been moving backward!" He fires again, forcing archer leap aside, but within a moment she has an arrow soaring at him, putting him close to a tree in order to dodge.
>"That's okay," Archer says as she readies an arrow, "We'll handle it."
>"I tried that," says Explorer says, "Oh heaven, how I tried that, but it did everything but what we needed. I guess there's no reason to be coy about things longer." Archer starts to move, but her steps begin to feel strange,  like her feet were numb. Suddenly she's stumbling, how did that rock get over here-no, she moved to it! Immediately she turns in the air, aware of the gunshot follows a moment later. Thank heaven Lily managed to warn her about this! This modern heroes, Ford, Princip, Armstrong, did any of them care to gloriously declare their attacks like the warriors of old, seeking to impress friend and foe alike with their valor and skill? The world really did learn from her, and that was a little worrisome, on top of everything else.
>Then she hits the ground just like any other fall, and Explorer is retreating! Damn it, his master must've summoned him! "Lily!" she sends, as she picks herself up, "He's coming!"
>Should Archer
>>Attempt to follow as fast as she can.
>>Try to shoot him with a poisoned arrow
>>Use No Face May King now that she has a moment, and hope that the lost time will not be a problem.

>You aren't sure if you have her wholly pinned, but she is definitely squirming like crazy trying to get away! You take a sharp elbow to the ribs.
>A SHORT WAYS AWAY.
>Archer takes a moment to don her cloak as Explorer dashes away. Fading into the forest, she allows herself a confident smile and follows. The enemy's servant's lead is considerably, and closing it is all but impossible. But she pursues, confident.

It'll have to do.

>Forbidden Zone takes a fair degree of concentration; you don't know if you can maintain this while keeping her subdued, eif you can even cast it with your limbs at these angles.

Well then, so much for that. I'll have to settle for brutal murder and Lily getting no sleep tonight :V
