The pocketwatch is a curiosity worth mentioning because it may actually be related to something important. As far as plot goes, Strange Force and Overlord seem to be the main kickers; running around the future is pretty cool and has been enjoyable, but we still don't really know anything truly significant other than our need to return home. The stopwatch being placed somewhere other than on our person seems like it may be significant; the issue is we have literally no idea where to start in locating it.
Alice sounds like a bust in terms of using a locator spell, so if you're not interested we can just drop it and go to Ran. We've spent quite a long time running around after having gathered the materials anyway; at this point trying to get back and run to NPCs to ask about treasure dowsing sounds like a chore, Nazrin will probably say she's already busy with work, etc. There's no guarantee the quest is actually over after we have Ran commence the spell, although such is reasonably likely.
